Amelia furrowed her brows as her and the raven haired man stood in front of a big grey house. The house was a two storied house with five bedrooms and two baths. It had a big porch around the house.
"Where are we?" she asked as she climbed up the stairs that lead to the porch. "We're still in Seattle, right?" she asked, curiously as she inspected her surroundings.
He chuckled lightly. "We still are, Mia. Just in another neighborhood. Far away from Esmeralda's place but we'll visit her and she'll visit us for sure." he replied, opening up the door.
The brunette was in awe as she stepped inside the house. Her eyes gaze at the pastel yellow walls and the welk furnished living room. Something else caught her eyes, it was the moving photographs. The memories of the past.
From the family photographs and to the photographs of her and her friends. She smiled brightly and genuinely.
From behind her, Regulus couldn't help but to smile as well. He loved seeing her smile or making her smile. It made his heart beat faster and he loved every second of it.
"How did you get these photos? These were kept in the house where James and I used to lived." Amelia asked, still smiling. "Did you stole these?" she asked.
Regulus playfully rolled his eyes at her. "I didn't steal them!" he exclaimed. "Though, Savannah stole them. So, blame her, not me. I'm innocent here."
That caused the brunette to laugh, shaking her head. "I wasn't going to blame anyone. I'm just surprised that the pictures were here. It's beautiful, though. The house, everything is wonderful. Thank you."
"You shouldn't thank me." the raven haired man implied. "I didn't get this house, Damon did before he died. Esmeralda and I just fixed up the place. Damon picked this specifically because he knew you'd like it."
She didn't say anything else, instead, he hugged the man in front of her. That caught Regulus off guard, causing him to stiffened but he quickly recovered. He snaked his arms around her waist, pulling her close as Amelia nuzzled her face onto his chest, her tears of joy was staining his button down shirt.
Regulus savored the moment they had right there because he knew, a hug from the woman he loves will be only thing he'll ever have and he didn't mind. He wanted her happy and he was so sure that James Potter would make her happy.
Parting of the hug, Amelia smiled. "You've been keeping us safe for a while now, Regulus. Thank you for that. I'm really grateful and happy that you're here." she said, genuinely. "You are one of the best people I know."
Before Regulus could even answer, something watery fell down on their shoes. Their eyes widened in shock. "My water broke." Amelia said, rather casually. "My water broke, Regulus! Get Savannah!" she ordered as she took a seat on the brand new couch.
Regulus scrambled his way to the kitchen, pulling his wand from his pockets."Expecto Patronum." he muttered, a black eagle soared from him wand. "Savannah, I need you at the house. The new one. Her water broke. Hurry because I don't know how to help her." with that, the black eagle flew away from the grey house.
The raven haired man helped the brunette to get comfortable in another room. "Are you alright? Can I get you anything?" Regulus asked, anxiously.
Amelia frowned. "A baby is making his or her way out of my uterus, can you get me a new vagina?" she snarked.
"She's snarky, she has a right to be since that this is going to be painful." Savannah said as she appeared inside the room, giving the two a shock.
