"Look who finally decided to show up." Fred snickered at the brunette who walked towards them.

Sierra rolled her eyes. "Sorry. I was just with friends." she said as she fixed her curtain bangs.

Over the passed couple of days, the two boys were eager to make friends with her. Draco wasn't too thrilled with the idea of spending time with a half blood, but, strangely enough, he tagged along with them.

In which Sierra hasn't seen her Gryffindor friends in those days due to her new friends. The four Gryffindor boys found it odd. Three purebloods who cares about blood status so much as their parents, are making friends with a half blood.

"Ah, yes. Those lot who cares so much about witches and wizards being purebloods." George said, his voice laced with venom before Damian glared at his direction.

Damain was keeping his friends at bay ever since Sierra started hanging out with the Slytherin lot. He wasn't upset about her not being able to spent time with them like she used to, he knows that she had the right to have many friends other than them, even if those were Malfoy, Zabini, and Nott.

"Yeah. They're great. Even Draco, even though he's an arse most of the time." she chuckled softly, but stopped when her friends gave her odd looks, clearly not expecting her to say that. "What?" she asked, her brows furrowing.

"Aren't you curious on why they're making friends with you, Sierra?" Elijah asked, ignoring the hard nudges he got from Damian. "They—"

"Why don't we just go and have some fun?" Damain interrupted, glaring at the raven haired boy before smiling at Sierra. "Let—"

"No. Elijah, continue." Sierra demanded, crossing her arms against her chest. "What were you going to say?"

Elijah looked at his friends from behind the brunette Slytherin. The twins urging him to elaborate whilst Damian glared at him. "I just don't trust them, okay? They aren't actually the type of boys who you can trust. Don't you find it curious why they hang out with you just now when they could've done it months ago? They come from a family who despises muggleborns or half bloods. Don't you find it odd? Don't you think that they have— I don't know, an agenda?"

"Maybe they're turning over a new leaf." she said, innocently which made the twins snort.

"They were raised to hate those who aren't purebloods like them. Do you really think they can change overnight?" Fred questioned, raising his brows at the girl.

"I'm giving them a benefit of a doubt because people can change. I know beneath their stupidity, arrogance and broodingness, there's kindness. I trust them."

"You didn't have to accompany me today, you know. I'm pretty sure you have some studying to do considering the fact that you'll be taking your OWLs soon. " Sierra muttered, leaning against a tree as the brown haired boy sat next to her. It had been a day since the confrontation with the boys. She gets that they don't approve of her new friends, but she also knows that they didn't have a say in who she can and can't be friends with.

Damian scoffed as moved his gaze from the Black Lake to the brunette sitting next to him. "You really think I'd let my friend alone? Not a chance, Priestley. Besides, who's to say I'm not studying right now?" he smirked, slyly as he waved his notes at her.

She rolled her eyes and they continued to sit in comfortable silence. "How could you aren't hostile like Elijah and the twins?" she questioned, glancing at him. "Hostile about my new friends." the girl added.
