Theodore was a very observant person, at least that was what people said about him. It was one of the special skills he acquired over the years of being involved with the Nott businesses, he was able to decipher what someone's intentions were at an instant. But when it came to Sierra Corine Priestly, he was very much clueless.

He could always tell whether or not she was upset but he couldn't figure out why she was upset. The girl was secretive, Theodore knew that. Everyone had skeletons in their clothes, he didn't judge them for that, but why was she so damn secretive all the time. He hated it when he didn't know what to do or what to say when she was upset.

While everyone was cheering and awaiting for the arrival of students from Drumstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy Of Magic, Theodore was beside Sierra who seemed rather uninterested at the arrival of the students from other wizarding schools. Even during the announcements of Hogwarts hosting the Triwizard Tournament, his friend didn't even look happy, she looked like she was dreading it. The question was why?

"Are you alright?" Theodore asked softly.

Sierra gave him a timid smile and nodded. "I'm fine." Theodore knows that she means the opposite. She looked away, not seeing how the boy frowned at her.

The cheers and chatter got louder and louder, Theodore eyes stared at the water as a ship rose from the bloody water before her eyes landed on Sierra again. Her hand was playing with the pendant of her necklace, a habit she did whenever she was nervous. Why the hell was she even nervous?

Sierra was nervous.

No, nervous doesn't even began to explain what she was feeling at the moment. Damon and Sierra have been sending letters to each other, discussing how they'll proceed since they'll be in the same school together. Ever since the day Regulus came to see her, Sierra couldn't shake off the feeling like something horrible was bound to happen. So, the twins plans to avoid each other at all cost.

As she sat in between Draco and Theodore, watching as the students from Beauxbatons Academy Of Magic made their entrance in the Great Hall. She almost laughed at the thought that her parents almost placed her in that school after she was expelled. It was funny because it didn't matter if she was in Hogwarts or Beauxbatons, Sierra and Damon were bound to be in the same place during their fourth year. Destiny has an odd sense of humor.

"What?" Sierra glared at the platinum blonde haired boy beside her.

"You've been staring your food for a while," He pointed out. "Too busy thinking about the Drumstrang boys?"

That made her roll her eyes. "Sure because I'm a girl then I must always think about boys." she said sarcastically before shoving food in her mouth. "Asshole."

"You know, Draco, it's best if you keep your mouth shut sometimes." Blaise chimed in and Theodore laughed.

From afar, Damon could see his sister interacting with what seems like friends. That made him sigh in relief. After the traumatic second year she experienced in Ilvermorny, she deserves to be happy and be around a good environment. God, Damon wished that Sierra was doing well in Hogwarts.

As students began to exit the Great Hall, Sierra was with her friends, talking about their new Defense Against the Darks Arts professor and she stopped talking when she caught a glimpse of the familiar curly hair.

It's not possible, Sierra thought to herself.

The girl hadn't seen him since she was expelled— since they were both expelled from Ilvermorny. She shouldn't have known that he would transfer to Drumstrang, but what the fuck was he doing with her brother? Were they friends? Why did he betray her like that?

He was laughing, a genuine laugh as his eyes landed on hers. The laughter stopped, it was like the blood drained from his face upon seeing her. At that moment, Sierra didn't feel anything but rage.

Destiny really has an odd sense of humor because why on earth would they bring back Jace Thompson into her life? The boy responsible for getting her expelled. The boy who was once her best friend.
