Students became exiting the Great Hall with each one of the houses has their own prefect to guide them. Draco being in character, had his hand on the small of her back as she guided her away from anyone who could possibly bump into her. Smirking slightly when he noticed Pansy and her friends gossiping about his hand pressed against her back.

As much as Draco hated the close proximity, he needed to do it if he wanted Pansy Parkinson to steer clear of him. Sierra, on the other hand, was huffing and already regretting her decision when she saw Ginny's wide eyes when they caught each other's eyes. Her best friend would have a lot of questions the next day.

A few students behind them, there walked Theodore Nott, staring or glaring at his best friend's hand that was placed on her back. Questions popped inside his head on why Draco Malfoy would ever do something so. . . gentleman like to a girl he didn't even liked.

"Is this even necessary?" the girl asked, pertaining to the hand that was place on the small of her back. "I'm pretty sure I can walk on my own without your hand guiding me

Draco scoffed. "Have you seen yourself? You're bumping into people every two minutes. One more and someone might just get annoyed with you, might even throw a curse."

"It's not my fault!" she defended, eyes narrowing at his small mischievous grin. "You should blame them, they're the ones who's not looking at where their going. I'm just a girl who's trying to walk while they bloody mess around! Don't you dare laugh at me."

And Draco did dared to laugh at her. He hasn't notice it before, but the girl, that his friends considered as a friend, was actually amusing. Maybe they were friends with her because in a way she brings a little light into their dark lives.

"Okay. I'm slowly getting scared of the glaring eyes of your ex-girlfriend. I swear, if looks can kill, I'd be very much dead right." Sierra whispered, lowly, making him snap away from his daze. "I swear to Merlin, if she throws a hex at me, I'm gonna throw one at you."

The platinum-blonde haired boy rolled his eyes at her empty threat. "She's not gonna do that. She'll probably get someone else to do it. And Pansy wasn't my girlfriend." He tutted her when she opened her mouth to protest. "If she does throw a hex at you, throw a curse at her. That ought to teach her a lesson."

"You're a horrible person." She deadpanned.

"You're just figuring this out just now?"

"No, I'm just stating facts." The Priestley girl said, nonchalantly as they entered the Slytherin Common Room. "Have you seen Blaise or Theodore? I haven't seen them yet."

"No, why? Do you need something from them?" he questioned, as if he was confirming something before taking his hand off her back.

"Just curious. I haven't seen them since I got on the train earlier. I thought we could all catch up or something. Tomorrow will do, I guess. I'm going to my dorm. I'll see tomorrow. Good night." And just as she was about to walk away from him, the boy grabbed her wrist to stop her. "You know, in order to go to my dorm, you're gonna have to let me go."

"Don't go to the Great Hall tomorrow without me. Wait for me here." He instructed which made Sierra scrunch her nose. "What?"

"I'm not going to the Great Hall tomorrow." she answered and his brow raised for a clear answer. "I'm getting my schedule from Snape then I'm going to the library."

"Show me your schedule tomorrow so I'll know what classes we have together." With that, he dropped his hand and walked away.

"So, you and Malfoy, huh?" A voice from behind her made her jump. "It's just me."
