The twins were sleeping peacefully in Damon's bed after the dinner. They talked for a bit more before they drifted off. Amelia and Regulus were placing their gifts for the twins underneath the tree for Christmas morning.
"I can't believe the two of them are leaving again in a week." the woman sighed as she sat down beside Regulus on the couch. "Do you think we're horrible to separate twins? They've separated for months due to school. Do you think we're terrible people?"
"No, why would you think that?" the raven haired man asked, a frown growing on his face. "They can't be in the same school together. It's too risky unless you're willing to let everyone know about who they really are."
"That really isn't the problem. I can't handle James knowing about them. It'll be a mess." she whispered, cautiously. "I can't handle messes right now."
"I know. You just wait for the perfect time."

Before anyone of them knew it, they holidays were over. The new term was officially starting and the students were already dreading it.
Potions class was the first one on Sierra's schedule. She liked potions, she just wasn't too fond of the Professor who seemed to like humiliating students.
Sierra frowned at the sight of two empty seats left. She could either choose to sit with Draco Malfoy and try not to kill him in the process of listening to class or sit with boy who seemed so curious about her.
"Sierra." he acknowledged her presence as he shifted in his seat to slightly face her. "How was your holiday?" he asked, his voice impassive.
"Nice and joyful. How was yours, Nott?" the girl asked, grabbing her textbook from her bag.
"You know, if we're going to be friends might as well call me by my name and I'll call you by yours." he remarked, making the girl purse her lips.
"How was your holiday, Theodore?" she emphasized.
"The opposite of nice and joyful." he quipped. "Balls filled with wealthy and obnoxious wizards and wtiches."
"Well, that's awful that you didn't get to enjoy your holidays." the girl said as she scanned through her textbook, the raven haired boy observing her closely. "Why didn't stay here for the holidays if you hate holidays at home so much?" she asked, curiously, lifting her gaze up from her textbook.
"Can't really go against my father now, can I?"
"We've only begun to be friends and I already know that you have father issues, Theodore." she grinned, making him roll his eyes. "Don't worry, you aren't the only one who has father issues."
Before the raven haired boy could even say anything else, Professor Snape entered the room, making Theodore pursed his lips. He had to stay silent until the end of class or else detention would be the consequence.

"Essays must be passed by Friday. Dismissed." With that, the students started to disperse from the room. Unconsciously, Sierra walked besides the raven haired boy as they exited the room.
The girl stifled a yawn before turning to her new friend. "What's your next class?" she asked.
"Transfiguration, you?"
"Charms." she answered. "Do you want to go to the library with me later? We can finish the essays together and we can study for the exams." she said, casually as if they were friends for years.
