As Regulus and Maven reached the third location on their list is was already nightfall. Gabriel had warned them about investigating at night, but both men didn't back down. They knew the risks and they were going to take the risks for her.

It was a cottage near the blue sea. The cottage looked empty, but both of them were cautious and sneaked their way to the cottage.

"Alohamora." Maven muttered as the door opened. Their eyes widened in shock as they stepped inside the large room. The cottage might be small from the outside, but it turned to be larger than it should be.

"We should split up, we'll cover more ground that way." Regulus suggested and the man who accompanied him nodded in agreement. "Stay cautious. Someone might be lurking around here."

"Got it." Maven said. They sent each other curt nods before they walked away from each other. Maven walked straight ahead to the corridor whilst Regulus climb up the stairs.

Maven walked into a room that looked like a library. He glanced down at his ring that rested on his ring finger, sighing. "I'm going to find her, Marls. I wish you were here."

"Stupefy!" That caused Maven to be thrown across the room, leaving him unconscious. Grayson smiled, towering over him. "I miss her too, Maven. I kinda wish she was here instead of you. She was smart unlike you. " he said before stepping away from him. "I'd deal with you later. I need to find a lover boy first."

The raven haired man was wearily of the upstairs part of the cottage. He felt like he was being watched and it sent shivers down his spine as he tried to find Amelia. The sound of a creak made his head snap into its direction.

He immediately hid behind the wall and discreetly watched who'll come out of the door. Regulus' brows furrowed upon seeing that no one exited or entered the room. With doubt, he entered the white room.

Regulus crouched down to her level as his eyes darken as her state. She had blood covered all over her outfit and the knife wounds were noticeable through the cuts of her shirt and trousers. The raven haired man was taken a back when she wrapped her arms around him, pulling her into a tight hug which caused her to wince at the pain.

He kissed the top of her head. "Let's go you out of here, shall we?" Regulus said, pulling away from the hug. Before he could even utter the spell to set her free, everything went dark.

Grayson sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. "Do you really think it'd be that easy to escape?" he asked rhetorically as he pulled Regulus away from his sister.

Mia didn't reply, she just stared down at her lap as she trembled in fear of what will happen, not just to her, but to Regulus as well. She almost laugh. Never in her life had she expected to quiver in fear for someone who used to protect her,  someone who's her family. The person she grew up with was gone. Her brother wasn't the same.

"People make things so difficult. Why don't they just leave us alone? It'll me much less painful and less trouble if they kept their noses off my businesses." Grayson sighed heavily, chaining up the raven haired man in front of Amelia. "At least it'll make you suffer more. Should I kill him in front of you?"

She gapped, lifting her head. "Don't!" she yelled as she trembled even more when his gaze darkened at her outburst. "Grayson, I'm b-begging you. D-do whatever you with me, kill me, torture me, give me up to the Dark Lord, but don't hurt him. Regulus has nothing to do with this. Whatever you have against me has nothing to do with him."

"Exactly my point." Grayson implied. "Wizards and witches who had nothing to do with such things ends up getting killed because of you. So many of them ends up getting killed just to protect you, Mia. Damon died because of you. Mum and dad died trying to protect you. Gabriel and his family almost died because of you." he implied with such hate towards the lady.

She inhaled sharply, tears slowly making their way down her face. "Then, kill me. You said it yourself, people are getting because of me. Don't kill Regulus. He doesn't have to suffer because of me. Just get it over with, kill me."

He stared at her like she was crazy before he burst into laughter. "Trust me, I'd want nothing more than to kill you, dear sister, but I'd like to see you suffer first. It'll be one of the few joys I'll have in my life."

"You are disgusting, Grayson." Regulus hissed. Both De Martel siblings were shocked to see him conscious and had been listening to their conversation. "You're going to kill her because of what? Because your jealous of how everyone treats her? Because everyone who ever knew would go through lengths just to protect her? You disgust me, Grayson De Martel. You are willing to kill your own flesh and blood because of mere jealousy and hatred and it's pathetic. "

That caused Damon to get riled up because everything that left Regulus' mouth was true. He pointed his wand at him. "Crucio."

Regulus yelled in pain as he fell to the ground. Amelia was screaming for him to stop, but he didn't stop. He wanted him to suffer, he wanted her to suffer.

She looked into Regulus' eyes, his eyes were telling her to close her eyes and she did. Amelia closed her eyes as she covered her ears, trying so desperately to block out his painful screams. She opened her eyes once again for what seemed like an hour to hear that the screaming had stopped.

"You seemed to have suffered enough." Grayson muttered before glancing at his sister's direction. "Mia, you get to decide whether you want him to live or end his suffering. Choose." he said, sharply causing the chained up lady to flinch.

"Don't do this, Grayson." She begged as she balled up her fists, staring down at her lap as tears came streaming down her face. She hated the choices he was giving her. Mia wanted Regulus to live, but she didn't want him to suffer. "Please. I'll do anything. Just don't do this. Please, Grayson. This isn't you. You're my oldest brother, Grayson." she croaked as she looked up to him.

Grayson scoffed. "You never knew who I really was. We may have grew up together, but you never actually knew me. We were never that close, dear sister." he stated, turning back to the raven haired boy."Watching someone die right in front of you will cause you to suffer. I'll kill him and your children and then, you. Avada—"

"Avada Kedevra!"
