Three days have passed since Morticia Amelia De Martel was taken by her brother. Since then, there wasn't any progress with finding her. The only progress was Grayson making the brown haired girl's life a living hell.
He constantly sliced through her flesh at least three times a day. During the second day, Grayson gave her a healing potion which healed her wounds, but left scars.
The more time Mia spent in that room, the more she realized that she was stuck inside a white room. It drove her insane seeing the four white walls every single time. The pain and hunger was driving her insane.

"It's been three days and we still have nothing." Maven groaned as he slumped down on the armchair. "All the tracking spells didn't work and Gabriel and Geneve are taking longer than expected to write down every De Martel property."
"I never thought I'd actually say that, but I agree with Jones. We haven't had any progress." Regulus said. "Isn't there anything else we can do?"
"Spells aren't working. Grayson must've placed a spell on the location to deflect the tracking spells." Savannah argued. "We could bring in Haven and the others."
"No." Regulus and Maven said in unison, firmly. They both glanced at each other before facing Savannah again.
Over the past few days, they were able to tell Amelia's oldest friend about what had happened during the past year. Maven Jones wasn't happy at all.
"The last thing Mia would want is to see James or Lily right now." Maven said, sternly. "We don't need their help. We have you and you people have me." he added in a cocky tone.
Regulus rolled his eyes in annoyance. He never really liked the Maven due to his obnoxious and annoying self. "We need to speed things up. Has Grayson mentioned something to you before? A safe place he goes to? Or a place where he wants to go to?"
"He hasn't mentioned anything of the sort." Savannah shook her head which caused the men to sigh in disappointment. Hearing the babies cry, Savannah immediately excused herself before entering the nursery.
Awkward silence engulf Maven and Regulus. The two didn't get along well, so Regulus stood up from his seat to walk away from the scene, but he stopped when Maven spoke.
"Do you love her again or are you just doing this because of your promise to Damon?" Maven voiced as he folded his arms against his chest. Regulus pursed his lips before turned around.
“I never stopped loving her.” Regulus remarked. “I made the promise to protect her because I do love her, Jones. I don't think I'll ever stop loving her.”
"I'm glad that she had you through all this mess. You've helped her through her pregnancy, you hid her from the deatheaters." Maven started, cracking him a smile. "You're a good man, Black."
Before Regulus could retort, the doors flew opened revealing both Geneve and Gabriel with proud looks on their faces, making Maven and Regulus face them with great expectations.

"We go into pairs." Gabriel said, placing the parchment filled with the list of the properties that were owned by the De Martel's on the table. "Geneve will head back to our home with Mia's children while we hunt Grayson down."
