Chapter 1
Third Person's POV
"WHY are we not lookalikes, Mom?" said by a 7 years old little girl in front of their mirror. She is wearing a white chiffon dress that makes her look like a princess.
"Why, baby? Are you doubting us?" The woman, who is her mother, said calmly while combing the little girl's hair.
"Some of my classmates said I don't have any resemblance to both of you, Mommy." The little girl's tone is sad.
Her heartbeat raced when she met her daughter's eyes.
Her face was so pale when she said those words to the little girl.
"I know, Mom. I'm just confused. Sorry for asking 'bout that. The both of you are the best." The little girl smiled, making the woman feel at ease.
"It's okay, baby." Hindi na siya kinakabahan.
"Yes, Mom. They dared to make a noise, a nuisance that deserve to die in my hands." The little girl smiled and close her eyes while feeling the hairbrush stroking her hair.
"W-where did you l-learn that, b-baby?"
"You know what I mean, filia." The authority of being a mother was evident in her voice.
"Oh. I learn that by myself. Aren't you proud, Mommy?"
"No, baby. That's not good to hear and it's not appropriate for you to say that."
"Noted, Mom." The little girl grinned like an evil.
The woman trembled in fear because of the dark aura that the little girl gives. Her face paled like a white bond paper.
"That's great, baby."
"Baby, wear your contact lens, please."
"Why would I need to wear this? I have a beautiful emerald eyes, Mom. Also, why we don't have a same eye color?"
"You will understand soon, baby. Kapag lumaki kana.
"Okay, Mom." Nakanguso paring sagot ng bata.
"Let's go. We might get late in our bonding."
"Where's daddy, Mommy?" Tanong ng bata habang naglalakad sila pababa ng hagdan.
"He's already there."
