She was tired all the time. The headaches she experienced most nights, along with her loss of appetite, gave Robert mixed signals that Andy might be ill.

He returned home to find his wife still fast asleep. He lay beside her and woke her up with a kiss. She stirred and kissed him back, but he pulled away.

"Robert, I need you to be straight with me. No lies, please," he said.

"Sure. What happened?" she asked.

"Are you ill?" he inquired.

"What do you mean?" Andy replied.

Robert pulled a letter out of his pocket. "You had tests done. What for?"

"I forgot about the letter. When I was taken to the hospital with a head injury, they did some tests to check if my blood was fine, but I didn't wait for the results," she explained.

"Don't you think you should contact them to find out what it is?" Robert asked.

"I'm fine. Apart from being tired and getting headaches, it's nothing much. But I'll call them if it makes you feel better," Andy promised.

"To be safe, please ring them," Robert insisted.

Andy agreed to do it on Monday since they were closed on weekends.

He lay down next to her, so they were face to face.

"I love you," she told him.

"I love you too," he replied.

She kissed his lips, hoping he would kiss her back, but he didn't. Frustrated, she got up to leave.

"Please don't go," Robert pleaded.

"Believe it or not, you're pushing me further away. I thought we could spend time together since we're both off this weekend. I want you so badly, but each time I try, you push me away. So you either tell me what's going on, or I'm done," she said.

"I'm sorry; I'm trying. I'm scared of losing you all over again. That first night you were back was amazing, but you haven't wanted to know since," he explained.

"I'm tired, Robert. I've been awake for two days straight. I come home to take care of Bella while you work, and I'm exhausted, which is causing me headaches. I've also been feeling sick because I haven't eaten properly. My new teammate is annoying and isn't taking hints to leave me alone anytime soon. I was looking forward to spending time with you this weekend, but it doesn't seem like you want to," she said, frustration evident in her voice.

She got off the bed, picked up her clothes, and headed to the bathroom, turning on the shower as she stepped in.

As tears streamed down her face, she hoped they could move past this rough patch. Usually, he would join her, but after finishing her shower, there was still no sign of him. She dressed, brushed her teeth, and went back into the bedroom, where she found him sitting silently on the bed.

"I'm going out and need to take care of a few things," she said, not waiting for a reply.

She quickly sent a message to Ryan.

"Hey, if you're free for an hour or two, please meet me."

Ryan replied, "Meet me at the office. All okay?"

"Will talk when I'm there," she responded.

It took her half an hour to get to the office. As soon as she stepped inside, she could hear him, and she felt a strong urge to turn back.

"Annalise Villa, how can we help you on your day off?" Rosie Rosewood exclaimed.

"First, turn it down a notch. You're too loud. Where's Ryan?" Andy replied.
