Third Person POV:
Scott follows Jackson to the ticket sale for the rave. Jackson has a threatening look as he skips the line. He stops when he sees Matt Daehler. When Matt sees him, he freezes.
"Hey, Jackson..." he greets him nervously. "Not here to punch me again, are you?" Jackson just walks up to him and continues his threatening stare. "Want to... want to go ahead of me in line?" Matt offers. Jackson walks forward and takes his place in front of him.
Scott watches the scene, waiting for him to show any indication about who is his next murder. He watches as Jackson walks up to the front and purchases one ticket.
What is he playing at?
When Jackson leaves, Scott walks up to Matt. "Hey, Matt," he calls him.
"What?" he turns around, annoyed.
"How much are tickets?" Scott asks.
"$75," Matt replies. Scott gapes at the price.
"Can I borrow some money?" he wonders.
"Yeah, how much?"
"$75." Matt gives him a "no, are you kidding me" look before turning back. Scott sighs and leaves to meet up with Derek and Isaac.
At the morgue, Chris Argent walks up to the two dead bodies covered by white sheets on the two gurneys. His eldest daughter follows his movements.
"This one, Sean," he motions to the one on the left. "Sean was killed by this thing Gerard says is a kind of shapeshifter. It hasn't been around for centuries."
"The thing you shot at the club the other night?" Allison innocently asks.
"South American legend we know of calls it the Kanima," he eyes her as she nods. He points to the body on the right, "This one, Jessica. She was smothered to death after giving birth. The police think it was done by someone else. We think it's a person who's controlling this other shapeshifter. That means 2 killers, Allison. One human. One not."
"You know, the question I had after Gerard first told me about our family? 'Why us?'" Chris continues. "He quoted me Winston Churchill. 'The price of greatness is responsibility.' Personally, I think it's more about knowledge. But we know the truth. We know about the world. That makes us responsible for a young couple, their newborn daughter, anyone that doesn't have the power to defend themselves. Are you starting to get it?"
"I get that this isn't a lecture. It's an interrogation," Allison replies.
"That depends on what you know," Chris stares at her. "Gerard showed me the library. Cameras didn't catch everything, but do you really think a little high school fight can explain that amount of damage? We know you're trying to protect your friends, but people are dying. A child was orphaned. What you know makes you responsible. It makes you responsible for this."
"What do you want me to tell you?" she whispers.
"Anything you know. Anything that can lead us to answering the one question that might mean everything. Who controls the Kanima?"
Hana POV:
I'm over at the sheriff's station eating dinner with Stiles and Noah. Scott has been banned from seeing Stiles outside of school, so I've decided to keep him company.
I've been banned from Stiles too, you know.
We ordered burgers, and I'm enjoying my grilled cheese and fries. Noah takes a big bite into his and then grimaces.
"Oh, what the hell is this?" he mutters in disgust.
"Veggie burger," Stiles answers while he pulls out more food.
