Scott and Stiles turn around and rush over to us. Stiles helps Lydia while Scott tends to me. I collapse into his arms and squeeze him so tight that I'm worried he can't breathe.
"We got you. I got you, Hana. You're safe now," he coos as he brushes a hand through my hair.
"She tried to kill me and Lydia," I whimper, shaking as I cry into his neck. "Scott, she wants Derek! That's why she wanted me dead. We have to warn him!"
"She's probably going to show up at the loft by the morning," Stiles says as he holds Lydia to his chest.
"Ok, you guys go there and warn him. I'll meet you there after I stop by somewhere," I tell them as I break away from Scott and stand up.
"Hana, no! You're hurt! We can do this! You take care of Lydia," Scott argues.
"I'll be fine," Lydia states, staring at us. "She hurt Hana, not me. I can help myself. Go and save Derek."
"He's my mate, Scott. And I'm going to protect him till my dying breath." I stand up and stare at the broken window. "I'll meet you guys at the loft. We're going to protect Derek, and we'll save your father, Stiles," I vow. "She won't win."
Third Person POV:
Harsh winds roar through Beacon Hills, a dark storm coming.
The hospital is crowded as the EMTs rush in the dead woman from the school. Melissa is trying to stay calm and organize everything, but it's difficult to hear her over the storm.
Lightning strikes a tree and a branch breaks off, shattering a hospital window.
"Ok, all medication should be sealed in the plastic bags and with the patient in their hands. When you've completely evacuated the room, you mark the door with a red 'X' ok?" Melissa orders. One of the doctors comes rushing up to her in a panic.
"What the hell is going on?" He cries. "The weather called for mild thunderstorms this morning."
"And now they're saying power is already out in several towns," Melissa nods. "Hill Valley's under a flood watch."
"I live in Hill Valley," the doctor states.
"Are your patients clear?"
"Uh," he goes through his list, "all except for Cora Hale."
In her room, Cora is pale white. Sweat drips down her face and Peter dabs a cloth over it.
"Hey, anyone want to tell me when they're getting my niece out of here?" He yells towards the hallway.
"Sorry, but she wasn't, uh..." Melissa stops when she comes face to face with the ex-Alpha. Peter gives her an angry look as she stares in fear and confusion. "You're supposed to be dead."
"I get that a lot actually," he turns back to his niece.
Cora's monitor starts to rapidly beat and she gasps as her eyes open. She hurls herself over the bed and hurls thick black liquid all over the floor.
