Today is the last day before senior year for my friends back home. Lydia promised to write my name for me, but it's not the same. I wish I could be there more than anything, but I can't.
Kira has been in New York all summer, and Scott is definitely anxious to see her. It doesn't help that tonight is also a full moon. And that means werewolf training!
To help keep Stiles from murdering Liam, Scott called me. The boys are in the woods resting on the jeep. We're currently discussing apartments for when we inevitably graduate. Stiles has a map laid out on the hood of the jeep, and he's circling potential candidates. "All right, so I found two cool bedrooms in the Mission District, but they're pretty expensive," I tell them as I scour the internet.
"Yeah, I saw those," Stiles says through the phone. "I found a couple in Haight and Ashbury. Also expensive."
"What about Berkeley?" Scott suggests. "Don't a lot of students live around there?"
"Yeah, yeah, we could try Knob Hill," Stiles answers. "But the jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches."
"You're bringing the jeep?" Scott questions.
"What a silly question, Scott," I giggle. We all know Stiles would never, ever, never part with that jeep.
"You know the plan, ok? No one gets left behind. That's the plan," Stiles tells him. "Lydia's not gonna have a problem getting into Stanford. Kira's thinking USF. Hana is aiming for Duke. And Malia's... uh... gonna... you know... She'll figure something out. Ok, the plan is perfect."
"Or you could also wait until you actually get into college and then figure out where to live," I suggest helpfully.
Stiles glares at me through the screen. "I have a vision, ok? And it is a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision!"
"Ok, ok, sorry," I hold my hands up in surrender.
"Hey, have you thought about coming back to Beacon yet?" Scott asks. Stiles and Lydia already ask me that question at least once a week. They're both dying for me to come visit. It's sweet, but it's not the time.
"Not at the moment. Sometime, definitely. I'll let you know as soon as I do," I promise them.
"Have you and Derek heard from Argent recently?" He asks.
"Yes, actually. They're still chasing Kate at the moment. As far as I know, they have no new leads."
"Question," Stiles butts in. "So if Argent is in Mexico hunting your psychopath, werejaguar, supernatural-hunting, werewolf-murdering aunt, where the hell is Isaac? Did your dad just up and leave him in France alone?"
"No," I roll my eyes. "My dad wouldn't do that."
"So then were the hell is he? He's not coming back to Beacon, is he? God, I cannot stand freezer boy," Stiles groans.
I roll my eyes again. "Isaac isn't that bad. You're being so dramatic, Stiles." Scott laughs at Stiles's annoyed expression. "If you must know, he's currently in New Orleans. He made some friends there and he's hanging out."
"Hopefully he finds a new pack," Stiles grumbles. "Maybe he'll befriend a coven of witches and they'll freeze him like Elsa froze Anna. Or stab him in the back with a wooden stake. Vampires and werewolves don't mix, right?"
"That's not how Frozen worked, Stiles. Did you actually see the movie?" I ask skeptically.
"Duh! The parents were obviously the villains! Grandfather Troll tells them that Elsa needs love, and then they isolate her and tell her to fear herself and her powers. Like, what the actual hell?" Stiles rants.
