"Hey," I grumble as I sit up from my bed. Derek wakes up from my rustling and sits up with me.
"Hey, man, what's up?" I hear Scott's voice ring through the joint-call. Only the sound of a light hum plays from Stiles's end. I jerk awake immediately.
"Stiles?" I begin to worry when I hear heavy breathing, like gasping. It's hard to hear over the static noise, but it's there.
"Stiles, you there?" Scott worries.
"Scott? Hana?" We hear him whimper through the phone. Derek sits straight up, his body tensing when he hears the chilling fear in Stiles's voice.
"Hey, we're here," I affirm to him, jumping out of bed and rushing over to the closet and put on some clothes. "Are you ok? Can you hear us?"
"Hana, I don't... I don't know where I am," he whispers through the phone, fear shaking through his voice. "I don't know how I got here. I think I was sleepwalking."
"Ok, um, can you see anything?" Scott questions. "Just tell us what you see."
"Ah, it's dark. It's hard to see. I think there's something wrong with my..." All of a sudden, the call disconnects.
"Stiles?" I freeze. "Stiles? Scott?"
"I'm calling him back," Scott dials him back into the call.
"Hey," we hear his voice.
"Stiles?" Scott asks.
"This is Stiles and you missed me, Leave a message." Scott disconnects him and gasps with worry.
"Come on," I dial him back in. His voicemail. Scott tries again. Voicemail. "God, come on!"
He calls us back. We pick up immediately. "Stiles!" Scott cries.
"Scott, Hana, I don't think I can get out of here. I can't move," Stiles whispers.
"Where are you?" I panic. Derek gets out of bed and starts pulling on some clothes, his brows furrowed with worry.
"I don't know. I don't know, it's too dark. I can't see much and something's wrong with my leg. It's stuck on something. And it's... I think it's bleeding."
"How bad? Stiles, how bad is it?" I cry as I pull on my white sneakers and search for my keys. It's silent.
"Stiles, are you there? Can you hear me?" Scott shouts through the phone.
"Ah, there's some kind of smell down here," he begins to cry. "Something smells terrible. It's brutal. My eyes are watering."
"Ok, listen. I'm calling your dad," I tell him.
"No, no, no, no, don't," Stiles pleads.
"But your dad..." Scott tries.
"Don't," he orders us. "Just... Just please don't call him. Promise me you guys won't. He already worries about me too much. Hana, Scott, please." We stay silent, refusing to lie. Derek walks over and pulls me to his chest. I lean my head against it and shut my eyes, praying we wake up from this nightmare.
"But what if we can't find you?" I whimper, tears threatening to fall from my eyes. "Stiles, we can't make a promise like that."
"No, no, no, just please," he whimpers. "Please, don't call him. Come find me. You guys can do it. He doesn't have to know. Hana, Scott, you can find me."
"I don't know if I can do this," Scott gasps.
"Oh, I got to call you back. I have to turn the phone off," Stiles says.
"What? No!" I cry.
"Hey, wait, what?" Scott shouts.
"I'm going to call back," he says.
