I'm reading another one of my romance novels in our bed while sipping some lemon tea. Rica is lying down next to me, licking her paws. Derek and Cora are out getting groceries. I'm not sure what they're getting, but I hope they don't forget my ice cream.
They better not forget my ice cream. I should text them so they don't forget.

Me: DON'T FORGET MY ICE CREAM OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!
Derek: I won't. I promise. I know how you get when you're angry :)
Cora: He wrote it down in his phone so he doesn't forget. And if he does, I'll hold his arms back while you take a swing.

I giggle at Cora's text. As I'm putting down my phone, it starts buzzing. I look to see Lydia calling me and I pick up.
"Hey, Lydia. What's up-"
"Something's wrong. Meet Allison and I at the school. Now," she frantically tells me.
"I'm on my way. What's going on?" Rica perks up at the worry in my voice.
"I don't know. But something is wrong. I can feel it."
"I'll be right over." I hang up and jump out of bed. I quickly put my leather boots on and grab my magenta suede jacket before rushing out the door, Rica at my heels. I text Derek and Cora what's going on before getting in the car and heading over.
Lydia and Allison are in the parking lot as I pull in. I quickly hop out and rush over to them.
"Have you found anything yet? Another body?" I worriedly ask.
"No," Allison shakes her head. "We wanted to wait for you."
"Alright," I take a deep breath. "We can do this. We're big girls. We can do this." I take a look at the school. "Actually... how about we wait for the boys?"
"Good call," Lydia nods. There's a rumbling behind us and we turn to see Stiles pull in and park the jeep. He hops out and walks over to us. We hear a loud engine and turn to see Scott pulling in on his bike.
"Where are they?" Scott frantically asks as he dismounts.
"Over here," I reply as we walk over to them.
"Lydia?" Stiles asks.
"It's the same thing. Same thing as the pool," she shakes her head in dismay. "I got into the car heading somewhere totally different, and ended up here. And you told me to call you if there's a dead body."
"You found a dead body?" Stiles questions.
"Not yet," I shake my head.
"What do you mean 'not yet?' Lydia, you're supposed to call us after you find the dead body," Stiles states.
"Oh, no. I'm not doing that again," Lydia shakes her head.
