"Welcome to London, Sir." Said the American air hostess as I jogged off the plane.

It is now 5am the next day and I am knackered.

My plan is to check into the hotel we stayed in before because it is closer to Reese and Katies house than my home.

I walked through the airport, hiding my face under my jacket. I almost got to the door...

"OH MY GOD?! ITS LIAM PAYNE!" Shouted a girl. I didnt even bother looking, I just ran. Out of the airport and into a taxi, the address of the hotel tumbling out my mouth as I watched the swarm of girls steam out of sight.

*

Buzz...buzz... buzz... buzz...

I picked up my phone, seeing the caller was Katie. I laid back down on my bed.

"Hello?"

"Hey Liam! Have you seen her yet?" Katie chirped down the phone, hearing someone so happy made me smile.

"No, just about to leave. Got any tips? You know her better than I do." I asked, awaiting her answer.

"Um... be yourself, she likes you for you. Explain everything and don't sound like you're blaming her. Smile and let your heart talk. I know that sounds soppy, but underneath Reese's hard shell she's actually a sucker for romantic crap."

"Right... okay, thanks Katie." I thanked, standing up and getting my coat.

"Tell me how it goes Kay? If it doesn't work out I'll happily fly over if you need company." She stated.

"Thanks, wish me luck!"

"Good luck!" She gushed before hanging up.

I forgot how lovely she is.

I got in a taxi and it drove me to her house. I got out and sighed before knocking on the door.

No answer.

I knocked again, harder this time and the door opened slightly. It's open?

A pang of worry rose through me.

"Reese? Are you okay?" I called through the still house, my voice echoing.

I stepped inside and shuffled through the corridor.

"Hello?" I called out again, the worry getting more intense.

"Liam?" Said a weak voice, my heart beat picked up as I entered the kitchen.

Oh my god.

Reese was lying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor, clutching her stomach. She was shaking and her usual full of life brown eyes just represented pain and... death.

"Reese!" I shouted, running to her side. Gently touching her hand. "What happened?"

Her small, withering fingers shakily pointed to her right. A knife was lying on the floor. Blood coating it.

I gasped and held Her hand, not caring about the blood. I spotted beads of sweat sitting on her forehead, shining in the artificial light.

Her big eyes tried to focus on me, but glazing over every few seconds. I was in shock, I couldn't think straight.

"Liam... help." Was all she said before her eyes closed.

"No! Please don't die, don't die!" My fingers fumbled as I leant over to hear her heart beat. Still going.

Right Liam, call 999. Now.
