She sits there, playing with a sliver of her long blonde hair as I nervously walk into the hotel restaurant. Her bitten finger nails lightly tapping on the edge of her tea cup while she smiles warmly at Eleanor talking in front of her. Her eyes locked on Eleanor's, lapping up every sound the brown haired girl's lips create.
She takes a sip of her tea and both girls giggle as she quickly places the cup down and brings her hand up to her face, and wipes, about a millimetre away from her plump bottom lip. Her hand becoming moist with the tiniest droplet of tea as the wiping sensation tugs her bottom lip sideways.
My own start to tingle as the remembrance of those lips on mine begin to stir.
I have to bite down on them to stop it.
"Liam!" Someone shouts as I'm pushed forward slightly, like you do when someone steps on the back of your flip flop and you kind of trip forwards without really moving.
My eyes quickly refocus on Katie standing in front of me.
"Have you done it?" She playfully asks, tilting her head slightly to one side.
I shake my head whilst gulping. "Nope."
"Well you better do it soon, because you're scheduled for an interview in two hours." She warns, warmly smiling up at me and patting me on rhw arm before standing next to Niall in the que.
Okay Liam, just breathe.
You can do this.
You've asked girls to be your girlfriend before, you can do it again.
Right.
Let's do this.
I walk straight up to the table she was sharing with Eleanor and sit down next to her. The velvet box shifting slightly in my pocket as I sit.
"Morning." Eleanor smiles, nodding and picking up her toast and placing it in her mouth.
I nod at her.
I turn back to Reese and her huge brown eyes are staring at me, swapping from my left eye to my right.
"I came... to-to ask you a que-question." I stutter, Eleanor gasps but I try to ignore her.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
Time stops.
I can feel my heart beating at warp speed.
Just as Reese begins to open her mouth someone comes crashing through the entrance and flies straight into a waiter. It's a woman and she groans as she stands up, holding her head. Two security men run in seconds later, grabbing her by the arms and begin to pull her out.
"Wait, wait! I need to talk to Liam! He knows me!"
Everyone's suddenly staring at me, awaiting my reply.
I haven't even seen her face properly, but her voice does ring bells. As she thrashes around in the arms of the security I see locks of dip-dyed red hair flap in their faces.
What the hell is she doing here?!
The guards turn her to face me and blood trickles down to her ear. Harry immediately steps in. "I know her! We met at a club! Guys, let her go! She's bleeding for fucks sake!" He yells, stomping over and grabbing her as the security let go.
"Can you identify her, Harry?" Paul asks as everyone stares at the girl.
"I... I... I don't remember her name." He sighs, frowning deeply. Paul turns to me and I feel Reese's eyes on the back of my neck.
"Yes I know her..." I breathe, "That's Jessie."
