Perrie's P.O.V
"Excuse me, do you know where Reese Williams is?" I asked the receptionist at the hospital. She barely looked up.
"Room one - oh - seven." She replied, tilting her head slightly to the right.
I looked at Eleanor and she rolled her eyes, taking my hand and jogging down the corridor.
Liam's P.O.V
I sat in the chair, next to her bed. Reese had woken up from the surgery last night, she was just sleeping now. I hadn't told her that Eleanor and Perrie were coming, I wanted it to be a surprise.
I suddenly heard fast footsteps out in the corridor. Eleanor and Perrie's heads emerged at the door frame. They smiled at me and slowly came further into the room.
I stood up and hugged them both, thank full that I wasn't alone. I debated looking at Reese's phone and telling Mark about it, but decided against it. Considering me and him are pretty much arch enemies now... even though he has no idea.
"How's she doing?" asked Eleanor, standing on the other side of her bed.
"She's been doing okay, she's been really tired. The doctor said she should be able to go home in a few days, they just want to make sure there's no lingering infection and that the wound is healing up nicely." I explained, they nodded their heads.
"Has she told you how it happened?" Perrie asked, frowning at the mention of the incident.
"No, I will ask her though. Just to see if she even remembers... The doctor also mentioned that she was quite intoxicated. A nurse even asked me if she had ever been suicidal or had depression!" I exclaimed, surprised at the thought.
Eleanor and Perrie's eyebrows raised.
"It's impossible for someone like Reese to have depression, let alone be suicidal! She's just so... cheerful." said Perrie, I nodded my head in agreement.
Eleanor sighed, "Although, they do say... The people who look the happiest are usually the ones hurting the most. They try to look strong and brave, but underneath they're... well, depressed."
That's true.
I looked at Reese, her blonde hair sitting grubbily around her small face.
Ohh, Reese. What's going on in that brain of yours?
I looked at the girls and saw big bags under their eyes, they must be suffering from jet lag..
"Hey, girls. Do you have somewhere to stay?" I asked, they shook their heads. I paused for a moment.
"Okay, it doesn't look like Reese is going to wake up any time soon... So if one of you comes with me to the hotel I'll book you both rooms. We can take shifts with looking after Reese while the others catch up on jet lag and... skyping their boyfriends?" I smirked, making them blush.
"I never knew you had a boyfriend Liam!" Perrie laughed, I pouted. "And yeah, I think that's a good plan." She smiled.
"Okay, who's coming with me?" I asked.
They looked at each other.
"You go, I'll look after her." Eleanor said, smiling at Perrie. She frowned.
"You sure, babe? I can stay if you wa-"
"Just go!" She giggled, pushing a chuckling Perrie out of the door.
I smiled and started walking out.
"You sure you'll be okay?"
She nodded, "Yeah, Louis' mum is a nurse. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.." She joked. "Oh, Liam?" I turned towards her again. "Would you mind taking my suitcase?" She asked.
