Reese's P.O.V

I watch as he goes over to her, the girl with the blood running down her face. His tall structure standing in front of her as he stares down sympathetically. People cry in shock as she begins to lose her footing and her knees start to buckle. Her eyes start to roll to the back of her head but she somehow controls herself, and shakes her head as if to rid of all the demons pulling her away into unconsciousness.

He watches as Harry carries her into the hotel lobby, setting her on one of the sofas. His eyebrows deeply furrowed as his right index finger sits on his bottom lip, curving round as he gently bites at it. He eventually walks over to her, first aid dabbing at her head with a wet antiseptic cloth.

He bends down and takes over from the first aid woman, holding the cloth on the girl's forehead. The way he looks at her... The concentration in his entire body is all focused on this one girl who I've only realised existed for the past 10 minutes.

She must be someone very close to his heart.

It's obvious.

No one takes that much care and attention into someone whom they may barely know. You have to at least feel something for them to be that attentive.

A flame of jealousy flickers in my heart.

I can't believe he just asked me to be his girlfriend, if only I'd have answered quicker.

I decide I can't take it anymore and leave the room. I may be selfish and I may be rude to not see if the girl's alright, but Liam and Harry seem to be helping her fine.

I walk back into the restauraunt to collect my sunglasses that I left on the table, nibbling on a loose thread on the end of my jumper sleeve. I stare at my reflection in the sunglasses, my mouth stretched in a straight line as I scold myself for being so jealous. She's probably just an old friend.

Suddenly my stomach churns.

What if she's that girl he was with when I rang him on Valentines day? What if he had kissed her? What if he liked it?

I don't like this feeling. Jealousy. It's like a huge centipede is crawling around my gut, wrapping itself around my organs and giving them a tug every now and then. It's a sickening feeling, a feeling that makes you overthink.

Paranoia.

My mind is far from Earth because I don't even realise someone wrap their arms around my waist. It's not until my eyes zoom back to focus on the sunglasses, that I see his reflection.

I squeal.

"Liam? What're you doing here? Why aren't you helping her?" I ask, in an awfully odd high pitched voice.

He chuckles, his cute little smile dancing on his face. 'Harry and first aid have control." He explains, "As for me... I came back for an answer." His smile grows into a naughty smirk. My stomach tingles as my lips feel plump, my mind beginning to buzz again.

I wait patiently for him to repeat his question, my heart rattling against my ribcage.

"There is a possibility that my current heart rate could smash my ribcage wide open." I whisper out loud for some reason.

Liam chuckles, raising his hand and gently stroking my face, his index finger chasing the freckles on my nose.

He took in a deep breath.

"Be my girlfriend?"

This time, hesitation doesn't even cross my mind.

I smirk, tickling my nose against his. "Sure."

My smirk disappears as his smile does too. His head lowering as I raise onto my toes, our lips just millimeters apart. We're so close I feel his breath on-

"W-wait."

He stutters and pulls away, my eyes flutter open as a swell of disappointment grows inside me.

'What now?" I ask, impatience clear in my voice.

He holds up his finger, and whispers, "One minute." as he fiddles around in his pockets.

He takes a good few minutes to do whatever he was doing, I sigh and put my hands on my hips.

"Liam..." I whine playfully.

"Ahah!" He cheers, holding a small box in his hands.

I panic.

"Wha-whaa... No..."

He doesn't say anything, just smiles and opens the box.

My breath hitches.

"I love you, Reese. So, so much. That night in the club, I wasn't out meeting Danielle or where ever you thought I was. I was buying this for you... to give to you. I skyped Danielle the next day to ask her opinion on it. She's still a friend, but never, since I met you, have I been talking to anyone who I felt anything for. Except for you... of course."

I hold the golden chain out in front of me, the words 'I love you' twinkling in the mid morning light.

"I- Liam... it's beautiful."

Oh hey, look! Cheesy Jordie is back again!

Ah well, we all knew it was coming.

Goodnight everybody.
