A month later,

"The baby is coming out, Dr. Swara be on standby"
Informed the lead surgeon

Cries and scream of the lady echoed whole room due to her labour pain.
At her last scream finally the baby was out.

Swara took the baby in the fresh towel as the other doctor cut the ambical cord.

The mother was at peace and slept due to tiredness but something caught Swara's eyes. The baby wasn't crying!

"Professor the baby isn't crying."
Swara's voice had fear and worry

Swara started rubbing his stomach and back slowly instructed by the professor

"Please please don't die, Please live, Pleaseeee baby"
Swara spoke with tears in her eyes as she remembered how she unlucky she was that she didn't got to embrace her baby once.
She hugged the baby tightly blowing air in his mouth rubbing his face

All the doctors in the room including professor felt bad for the mother and child

"Pleasee"
She mutters slowly being emotional feeling the pain of her and the mother.
Just then the baby cries echoed the whole room.

All the doctor who were present in the O.T started clapping rejoicing the happiness.

Swara kissed the baby's forhead with a smile and handed it to the nurse for cleanup
She took the support of her stick as her leg were still bad after the surgery.
The happiness of feeling the child breath in her arms was something different and etheral.
The feeling of pain of all these years of not saving her own child finally subsided by this joyful moment.

Swara walked in lift rubbing her neck but feeling tiredness. Her body isn't strong as she was still recovering from the surgery but she was adamant on continuing her duty neglecting Sanskaar's words who strictly banned her from hospital for more days.

She smiles at Sanskaar's care towards her it's been ages since he cared genuinely for her without naming as sympathy.

The lift halted at 16th floor, Swara made her exit walking slowly walking towards ortheopadic doctors room

And at the entrace she saw a familiar face coming out.

"It's been a while Dr. Rohan"
Asked Swara stopping in her track noticing how sulky and dull his face has become post her confession

"Oh Swara how are you now?"
He asked still being concerned for her

"I am recovering well just my leg isn't fine".
"I heard Dr. Bhosle is your orthopaedic doctor right?".
She nods
"He's a good one it would take some days but you'll be fine".
"But are you fine, You don't seem to be. If incase it's because of that day then am sorry Rohan but I had to do it"

Rohan chuckled "Stop stop Ms. Express, No need to explain yourself Swara just it's hard for me to be honest but don't worry I'll be fine"
Rohan said with a smile

"Kavya seems to be absent these days. Is she on holiday"
"Oh she said she needs a break maybe Sanskaar has also cleared things out with her. Well it's good for her if she tries to move on"

"Thank you Rohan for being my friend first and understanding me",
She spoke with a warm smile

"This time I really tried to be good friend . I love you that doesn't mean you need to love me back. It's okay just be happy with him"
He said hugging her a little whearas she was frozen in her place. She didn't respond to that hug to which he broke it quickly
