"Bela where were you? I've been looking for you all morning, we have to go, Lexa's sending in Trikru tomorrow." Lincoln says after making sure I was ok.

I start to grab my pack and the last few things I need then answer Lincoln "Where I was doesn't matter, how do you know they're coming tomorrow?" I question him, he's seen as a traitor, how would he get any information?

"I went to Polis... I thought you went there to convince Lexa and stop the attack." He answers.

I stop packing and look at Lincoln "You really think I'm that stupid, I wouldn't go for Polis unless it was necessary"

"Ok, ok, let's just go, it's a long way to the ocean." Lincoln affirms. He makes his way out of the cave and I follow. I take one last look back, I had grown up here, hidden here for 10 years. Now I'm finally leaving and get to see Luna again.

                           —————————

Lincoln and I have been walking for hours and my legs are killing me but I make sure not to complain.

Lincoln must've noticed my tired facial expression and he assures me "Hey, we're almost out of the woods, once we're out we can rest in the village".

Lincoln had grown up in the village I was born into. Lexa and I were sent to Polis as Nightblood Novitiates but we would often visit the village. That's where I met Indra.

"You think Indra's still there?" I ask Lincoln in hopes that he says yes. I missed Indra, she was like a mother to me but I had to leave her to when I fled the conclave.

"I think so...if she's still alive, there's no where else for her to go." Lincoln tells me, I feel nauseous at the thought that Indra might not be alive anymore.

                     ——————————

It's already dark and I haven't stopped walking but I hear noises very close. "Do you hear that?" I ask Lincoln as I stop him and myself. We both turn around and see that a fire was started and there's people around it.
Anya and Tristan. Two of Lexa's most loyal warriors. If I was seen, Anya would probably kill me. They were accompanied by some other Trikru guards, they had a prisoner. It was extremely dark, so I couldn't really make out who it was until the person got closer to the fire.

"It's Clarke" Lincoln tells me. He's right. She's chained up and it looks like they're holding her hostage to kill her soon.

Lincoln looks at me worried"We have to help her, bel" he says.

"Lincoln we don't have time for that, we almost out, please" I beg Lincoln, I had already helped Skaikru before, if they didn't use it to their advantage, that's their problem. I had to go right now, so I keep walking but Lincoln doesn't follow me. He looks at me, insinuating that he wasn't going anywhere with me until we helped her.

"Fine" I say as I turn around back to Lincoln. "I'll go and start a signal fire, you get Clarke, we meet at the pit" I manage to sneak through the trees and take one of Anyas horses.

I start riding as far as I can in very little time knowing that they could kill Clarke at any moment. Lincoln's counting on me setting the fire so I have to hurry.

I decide that this is as far as I can go. I make a fire big enough to be seen from Anyas check point. I start riding back to the place where Lincoln and I had agreed to meet. Once I get there I see Finn and Clarke hugging while Lincoln is there starting a small fire.

"Will you look at that, we did it Lincoln, now can we go?" I ask Lincoln sarcastically as I get off my horse.

"Bela!" He runs up to me and picks me up in a hug, "What took you took so long?" He asks me.
