"Give me the radio." I told Kane. He stepped aside and laid the radio in my hand, "Here I'll take her." He offered, I gave him Nadia and sat on the floor getting the radio on, "What channel?" I asked him. "For now just stay on the main channel." He explained.
I nodded and turned on the radio, "Hello? This is Bela Kom Trikru, hello?" No response. I looked at Octavia, worried that the people we loved had betrayed us.
"Can anyone hear me, can anyone hear me dammit?" I said starting to get anxious.
"Bel?" I recognized Bellamys voice, but couldn't help but smile at the sound of his voice.
"I'm alive, I won." I told him. The radio went silent, I knew he couldn't be alone on the other side, "Now whoever is on the other side of this radio, before you think that it was a good idea to take that bunker because I won, Octavia is alive as well." I continued. I could hear a sigh of relief on the other side, "I spared her life, now what the hell did you do Bellamy?"
"It wasn't me, but I'll fix it." Bellamy reassured me.
"We don't have much time." Indra reminded me.
"Listen to me, when I won I decided to share the bunker with everyone. 100 from each clan. Gaia is out there buying us time to sort there people, she's also convinced the scouts to lock down the temple, but if anybody finds out that Skaikru of all clans stole the bunker, we're all dead." I explained.
"Copy that, I'm on my way." Bellamy answered. He paused for a minute, "I'm going to need some time."
Octavia came over and got closer to the radio, "Wait, what? Bellamy we don't have time." The radio cut out. They turned it off.
I looked at Indra and then Octavia, "I trust him." Octavia tried to bring our hopes up.
"So do I, who I don't trust, are the people in that bunker who forced him inside." I agreed.
Kane was sitting against the wall with Nadia peacefully sleeping in his arms. I walked over to him and took a seat next to him.
"Who is she?" Kane asked as he admired my little girl. "She's my niece." I answered him. "Wheres her father?" He asked once again. "I killed him in the conclave." I responded, I didn't want to think about it, but Kane looked like I could trust. "She's roans daughter. She's Azgeda, she could be the new Ice Nation Queen." Kane put together.
"She's also a nightblood, which makes her an extremely important person. I hope you Can keep this quiet, at least until I decide she's safe." I asked him. "Of course, in that bunker you'll be in charge, use that as an advantage and protect her." Kane advised. "I will." I answered, I hated that I was going to be in charge, I'm not sure I can, "You'll make a great leader Bela, I'm sure of it." Kane said as he rested a hand in my shoulder.
"Mommy?" Nadia said scared as she looked around in fear.
"Hey, hey, hey im here it's ok." I assured her as I took her in my arms.
"Where are we?" She asked me confused. I looked at Kane confused, no idea what to tell her, "Well how about I tell you a story huh." Kane suggested. Nadia looked at me, she didn't know anyone really, "It's ok, you can trust him." I told her. She nodded in agreement and I sat her in Kane's lap as she listened attentively to him. I got up and walked over to Indra and Octavia.
"So you got a daughter now?" Indra asked. "I won't much longer if we don't get that damn door open." I said anxiously. "Hey relax, Bellamy will get it done." Octavia assured me, "and when we do, Indra can become grandma Indra." Octavia joked. I laughed a little at the thought of Indra being a grandmother, "Well, it does have a nice ring to it." Indra added on.
