46 DAYS AFTER PRAIMFAYA:
Miller and Octavia broth grunted as I took on the both of them, a bunch of routines and turns were thrown in but I seemed to keep taking the upper hand. The sounds of our metal swords flaming were heard loudly between grunts, I managed to jab Miller on the chest behind me and kick Octavia causing her to fall on the ground, I put both my swords to their throats making it clear that I won, I smiled at their defeat and so did they.
"Bela, The delegates have assembled." Indra said as she held the commanders clothing in her hands.
I gave Octavia and Miller both a hand and they both jumped to their feet, "You two Can keep sparring if you want, I'll be back soon."
"Yeah, next time you come we'll beat your ass." Octavia joked. Miller gave her a little fist bump.
"You can try." I said as I walked off with Indra.
After I was dressed I walked down the halls of our new home, everyone had settled in pretty well, everyone had their job, people scurried around carrying crates, giving orders, we might survive down here peacefully.
As I walked down the corridor, Niylah walked past me with Nadia riding in the bin she was driving around.
"Heda kom Wonkru." Niylah said sarcastically as she "bowed."
"Stop." I told her, Niylah laughed at her little joke, "Look what I found." She pointed to Nadia.
Nadia tried to hide herself under the clothes Niylah was transporting, "Nadia what did I say about roaming around the bunker by yourself?"
"Well where else am I supposed to go, outside?" Nadia answered.
I gave her a small smile, I hate that she won't grow up outside, free, but it is what it is.
"Still I don't want you to be alone."
"I'm not alone I'm with aunt Niylah, and before that I was with uncle Nate." She said, her cheeks turned red as she lied.
"Huh, that's shocking, I've been sparring with uncle Nate and aunty O all day long." I answered.
She whistled and looked away from me, I laughed with Niylah, "Just stay with aunty Niylah, we'll keep training later."
Nadia smiled and went back to her business, "We're sparring tomorrow, promise?" I told Niylah as I walked to her.
"Mhmm." Niylah smiled and nodded her head.
"Indra." I called after her. She walked towards me and we both made our way to the rotunda. We went inside and took a seat as all the delegates sat around the large round table with us.
"Keibor kom Delfikru don jak tronkova op kom Sangeda ridon!(Cabor of Delfikru stole blankets from Sanger's quarters!" The woman began pretty pissed off.
"Bilaik trompen loud(A brazen lie!)" Another delegate defended.
"Bilaik vaucha, you; em hedsweden nou ste ifi nowe. Hashta Sangeda koud em bes teik rokshawa in en em seingeda bes ge ban au. (There are witnesses; his guilt is not in question. By Sangedakru law he should be stoned and his family cast out.)" The same woman continued.
I sat back, annoyed how they were making such a problem over blankets.
"And on the ark, he would have been floated, but surely here we can instill a justice system where the punishment fits the crime." Kane said peacefully.
"Kripon-de ona osir; en osir raitnes beda win au.(The crime was against us; and our justice should prevail)" the sangeda delegate continued.
"So much for wonkru." I said softly.
