"I have a meeting tomorrow morning about the attack on Mount weather." Bellamy said as he took off his boots.

"Ok, sounds good." I responded confused as to why he was telling me this.

"Yea, I just thought you should know." He finished.

As we both got into bed I realized what was wrong.

"You blame yourself don't you?" I asked as I I cuddled up to his chest.

"How could I not, I told everyone to stay at the Mountain thinking the assassin was coming to you, 47 people dead because I made the wrong decision." He said, his voice cracking.

I looked up at him and saw tears falling down his face as he tried to fight it. I adjusted myself so I could see him better and wiped away his tears.

"You did what you thought was right bell." I said.

"But it wasn't." He added.

"Everyone dies bell, you can't prevent it. Those people, can finally find peace, their not fighting for their lives anymore, not like us." I told him as I held his face, no matter how hard he tried, tears silently filled his eyes, "You can't save everyone Bellamy."

The next morning there was a memorial for the fallen. I saved Bellamy a seat waiting for him to come back from his meeting and he did.

"We all die, how we die is up to us." Pike started. "Who will speak for Iris.?"

A boy stepped up and walked towards the front. "Iris was strong, good with a knife. She saved my life. I'm just sorry I couldn't do the same for her." He left a blade which I asume was Iris's on a table.

"We will miss Iris. May we meet again." Pike added. Maybe he wasn't so bad, holding a memorial for the fallen.

The doors opened and a few guards came in, I caught Lincoln's eye as he looked at me, he could hear something I couldn't so I subtly stood up and walked over to where he was standing.

"Glad your ok." I said as I kept my eyes on the guards speaking.

"Nice sleepover with your little sister." Lincoln responded.

"What, you jealous." I teased back. "What's you hear?"

"A grounder army, 300 strong just outside the gate." Lincoln answered.

"What? Why?" I asked alarmed.

"Don't worry, it looks like your sister sent them to protect us." He assured.

"What! You gave a grounder one if our radioed!" Pike raised his voice to a point where we could all hear.

I snapped my head back towards him to see what was going on.

Concerned murmurs we're heard all around.
"Sir are we under attack?" A woman died from the crowd.

"No. We are not under attack. The commander sent a peacekeeping force to ensure that we can defend against any further attacks from the Ice Nation." Kane explained to his people.

"Peacekeeping force? Even you can't be that naive Marcus." Pike argued.

I looked at Lincoln who looked just as worried as I was about what expected us.

"Watch your tone. You're talking to the next Chancellor." Abby defended.

"We're all grieving. This has been hard on  all of us. But we can't let anger drive our policy." Abby announced.

"Anger is our policy"pike said passionately.

Everyone murmured in agreement.

Pike got on a small stage. "Now if they're here to defend us as you say, then tell them to go home, we can defend ourselves." Pike demanded.
