Give In

I'm trying you once again,

I need a sign before I give in.

I'm at a crossroads and I need your strength,

I need you to tell me if this is where it ends or if this is just the beginning.

I'm not sure if I'm alive or dead,

But I know for certain I am not living.

I wonder if You are listening,

And I hope You are,

Because if You listen closely,

You will see the reason I wish not to be alive;

I am no good for myself,

And I would be better off dead.

Please I pray,

Allow this to be my last breath,

I did not wish for this life,

So please take me back to the place from which I came.
