Free and Careless

I have a lot of good days now,

Most days I don't have to worry if my head will get loud,

I'm stronger too so I don't really to listen to all the outside noise

Somethings they say still hurt but I tune out the noise.

I have a set of new eyes,

Why didn't anybody tell me nature was this nice?

I fell in love with the ocean,

The sunset,

Sunrises,

And the trees.

The melodies of birds are very sweet,

Nature in its entirety brings me peace.

I like my days like this, peaceful and full of bliss.

A feeling of being on top of the world not caring about a single thing.

I hope it lasts and I never retreat to the life I had lived.

Because who I was then is not who I want to be.

I want to be free and careless like the birds in the trees.
