I have got to get a grip on me,

I don't know why this is happening to me,

But I know it's not healthy,

I'll never die on my own time and I see that now,

I need to ignite the fire I know is in my soul,

It's time for me to take on a new role,

It's time for me to grow,

I may never love myself but it's time I learn who I am,

And get things right with my soul,

I need to let all this hate go,

I need to learn to be bold,

And remember my life is in my control,

And that the voices in my head,

May be a figment of my imagination after all,

And it's time for me to kick them out once and for all.
