Dear Mr. and Mrs. Society

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Society

How long do you plan to keep this up?

Persons of all ages are dying because of your slackness!

I demand you stop this foolishness right now!

Look around at the world you have 'created',

Are you proud of yourself when you see teenagers jumping off cliffs and rooftops?

Or bleeding out in bathtubs or wherever?

Or maybe you get excited when you see persons stepping out before vehicles driving way too fast to stop or slow down,

And their insides come alive before the viewers' eyes,

And greet them with warm embraces and warm smiles.

Doesn't it bother you that thanks to you,

Everybody desires a skinny body,

So skinny that their bones are always there,

Smiling,

Ready to say hello?

Maybe,

Just maybe it bothers you when young girls are afraid to look in mirrors because they feel like they don't live up to the picture perfect person you showed them;

And that makes them feel fat, unwanted and most of all ugly,

And as a result they cut their skin open and allow their blood to run out gladly, saying goodbye to where it left.

Mr. And Mrs. Society,

As a member of this world I'm begging you please let us live in peace and be happy human beings.

If we were to meet all your standards, we'd probably all be dead,

Because nothing that we do can please you in the end.
