Body
There's so much about my body I wish I could change,
Like the shape of my nose when I smile,
Or the fat beneath my chin that never misses a moment to be seen.
If I could,
I would cut the fat from my skin that bulges around my arms and back whenever I sit.
My stomach,
I'd cut off for sure and the scars that would remain I'd surely adore.
If it were up to me,
I'd remove the fat from my breasts so I wouldn't have to constantly hear that they don't look good in that dress.
I'd give some parts of my skin lighter shades so they'd fit in and not scream "hey look I'm right here" to everyone who can hear.
I'd cut the stretch marks out for sure,
Because they remind me of everything my body will never be and more.
I'd change the fact that I snore,
And that I tremble whenever the time gets cold.
I'd change the fact that my body just doesn't belong,
Especially with a voice that people tend to scorn.
There's so much about my body I wish I could change,
But I guess I'll have to live with it until the end of my days.TionaH🦋
