Pain

Pain is a dangerous game to play,

You never know when it's your turn to make a move,

You never know what the next player's move will be,

Pain knows your strengths and your weaknesses too,

It is predator and you are its prey,

You never see it sneaking up on you but when it does,
You'll wish you were dead instead.

It's a scary thing,
Pain,

It will make you want to move away from your body and brain,

It's a killer but it is an exceptional character,

It is eloquent, elegant and so much more.

Sometimes it tricks you into doing things you'd never normally do,

With pain you'll never have time to be bored,

I know pain like no one else has before,

I know pain that is rotten to its core,

I know pain that is ruthless,

I know pain that has no roots,

I know pain that knows no mercy.

Pain is a dangerous game to play,

There is no guarantee that you can ever win

But you are sure to lose.
