Everything starts with an idea."
Third Omniscient Point Of View
______
A knock on the door startled Qophelo from his sleep. He felt warm, and a heavy weight on his chest. His eyes opened slowly and he looked around before looking down on his chest. He couldn't believe his eyes. The Princess was on his chest, quietly snoring with her hand around his body. He could feel her legs wrapped in his under the blankets.
Memories of what happened last night came back to him. After they talked about his sister, it was talking about random things. He could remember the things they laughed about and he couldn't help but feel more attached to her. The urge to kiss her became more intense than ever but he brushed it off.
He felt like a pervert staring at her so hard. He gently removed her and headed for the door. He opened it slightly and stared at Zweli expectantly. He knew he was here to question him on the Princess's disappearance. "Can I help you?"
Zweli folded his arms. "Where's Thandeka?"
"I don't know. She was with you last night wasn't she? You don't know where your own wife is?" Qophelo raised an eyebrow.
Zweli sneered. "You are her bodyguard, aren't you?"
"I am." He nodded. "But I was in here. Sleeping. While you were having dinner and didn't want me there, now how am I supposed to know where she is?"
"Don't talk to me like that. I'm still your boss."
Qophelo scowled and stepped out, closing the door and not giving Zweli a chance to look inside. He folded his arms giving the man a pointed stare. "You were never my boss. I don't take orders from you, I take it from the King. Whether it's your father or her father but not you. That will never change. You are not going to order me around like I'm being paid by you."
Qophelo then narrowed his eyes at him and scowled, anger taking over. "And I don't appreciate you talking to me like I'm one of your servants. You and I both know I can knock you out before you can even say 'I'm an arrogant prick'. This is my private room and I won't allow you to violate that right just because you're daddy's boy. Now Leave."
He went in and closed the door, locking it again. He heard Zweli leave, his fast-paced steps telling Qophelo how angry he must feel for not being respected by someone below his status. He looked at Thandeka and watched as she slowly opened her eyes. Disoriented and still sleepy, she looked around the room.
Their eyes met and Qophelo smiled. "Morning."
Thandeka slowly sat up and smiled. "Morning. I heard noise, was that Zweli?"
Qophelo nodded. "Yes. And he's furious. He was inquiring about your whereabouts. Where were you, Princess?" He asked, tilting his head with a silly smile. He went to her and got in bed next to her.
"Me?" Thandeka asked, putting her hand innocently on her chest. "Well, I can't lie now, can I? I was with a certain good-looking bodyguard."
"Certain good-looking bodyguard? Sounds familiar, sweetheart. Mind describing him to me?" Qophelo laid on the headboard putting his hands behind his head, still staring at Thandeka with a silly smile on his face.
