Chapter 2 / Test × of × Tests

After you and Prince had gotten done with training, you both jogged home since it was getting dark

"Come on lazy bones hurry, I don't want a crazy man to jump us"

Prince looks at me annoyed as if he was saying in his head 'like anyone is going to try and jump a girl who has a lion next to her, as if'

You and Prince head inside, you take off your shoes while he yawns while going to his water bowl, drinks some water then to his bed to sleep.

You debate on if you should eat or not, "Nah I'll eat in the morning or I'll pack something on the way" you say in your head. You head off to the master bedroom with your bathroom attached to it.

You take a quick nice warm shower then get your pj's on to slip underneath your silky cool bedsheets. You slowly but surely drift off to sleep.

You wake up to your annoying alarm, quickly shutting it off and yawning sleepily. You slowly get up to get ready, you put on something simple and comfortable.

Walking out with all the things you need to have durning the hunter exam, you call out to Prince, "Hey handsome boyyyy, you ready?"

You see him slowly waking up, while he wakes up you grab some food for both of you and a couple waters and put them in your backpack.

"Come on Prince, we gotta go~" you call out to him while you check the time '11:47am'. Prince makes his way towards you and follows behind you while you make your way out the door.

You yawn slightly as you walk through the streets of Zaban city with Prince.

As you walk through the streets, you admire the small shops they had outside, some had food, some had gems, and even some clothes but you needed to focus on getting to the exam site and not on food.

A couple minutes go by and you see the restaurant where the hunter exam site is, "Oh~ Finally, come on Prince you ready to do this thing!?"

You look down at Prince who just looks up at you and purrs. You giggle.

"Come on buddy, let's get inside" You slide open the restaurant's door and you're immediately welcomed.

"Welcome! Take a seat!" Said a shorter and older looking man who was cooking something.

"Hello!~ Is the back room available?" You say while eye smiling at the man, you were kind of cranky due to the poor and lack of sleep but you also didn't want to be rude to the man.

He looks at you and asks, "What are you having?"

"The steak combo, please. The one that'll make us see the light. Make it three please"

He looks more seriously at you while you just smile sweetly at him and says, "Combo for three, eh? How do you want 'em cooked?"

"Grilled slowly over a low flame 'til done, please."

He goes back to what he was doing before with the cooked food and says in a more softer tone, "Got it. See yourself to the back room."

You bow politely at him and thank him before walking towards the back room with Prince staying extra close to your leg. You open the back room's door and close it behind you once Prince enters.

There's a round table with three chairs inside, you decide to sit down in one of the chairs since you didn't want to be just standing there.

You sigh to yourself before sitting down in one of the three chairs that are in the middle of the room, Prince comes to sit by your side.
