Chapter 13 / Some × Brother × Trouble

Hisoka's POV:

I almost couldn't keep my cool seeing Y/n be thrown around like. Prince wasn't sitting still at all, he wants to kill Hanzo. I'm about to step in to get Y/n but Illumi knew what I was going to do and stopped me. He told me I should wait. I sigh softly and just continue to watch this painful one-sided fight. It pulls at my heart strings and I hate it. How can a young woman I've known for such a short amount of time, break down all of these wall I put up from when I was young, in just a couple days?

The fight was finally over.. Soon as she whispered that she surrendered I walked over to Chairman Netero and asked if I go with her but he told me not until after I have won my fight. I let my bloodlust loom over him for a moment. I watch Y/n get picked up and carried away as I walk to my original spot. I told Prince he had to go with Y/n but had to let the doctors do want they needed to do on. With that, Prince ran off to Y/n, me and Illumi waited to do our fights and get this Hunter Exam over with.

Your POV:

Your eyes slowly open, revealing that you're in a large room. You try to look around but it hurts. "Hey... Don't do that, you'll hurt yourself. You took a pretty nasty beating.." You hear Menchi in the room and try to look at her but you didn't realize that Prince was at the foot of the bed and laid on your legs more. Taking the hint to stay down, Menchi brings herself to you. "It's okay.. I'm right here.. You've passed the Hunter Exam, congratulations Y/n!"

"P-passed? How? I surrendered.."

She nods before speaking again," Killua failed by getting disqualified for killing an applicant.. So everyone else passed the exam." Your head pounds harshly as you try and think. "Everyone else is going through the orientation now and you will later unless you feel ready to go now" You nod slowly and start to sit up, Menchi helps you. You feel your bones crack in places you didn't even know can pop like that, it hurts so much you don't care.

Menchi helps you out of the bed and you grab Prince's mane gently for support, he is to about your upper stomach so it's easy to lean on him. Menchi leads you to the area where the orientation takes place.

You walk in the room, everyone looks at you making you very nervous, you've always hated being stared at but you just gulp and walk towards Hisoka, you sit on his left. You notice that Illumi is his normal self and not Gittarackur but he's in the front room. Not even a minute later, the doors that you came through, bust open and Gon is standing there, he looks angry. He stands there for a moment before walking towards Illumi. Gon stops to the right of Illumi and stares at him. Illumi doesn't look at him.

"Apologize to Killua!" Gon tells Illumi firmly. You lean towards Hisoka and whisper to him," What happened?"

As Hisoka tells you what had happened, you listen to Hisoka and what Gon was telling Illumi. Illumi looks at Gon," Apologize? For what?"

"You don't know what you did wrong?" Gon asks Illumi a bit confused.

"Nope." Gon seems to get angrier at the response from Illumi. "You're not qualified to be his brother."

"I wasn't aware I needed to qualify to be his sibling..."

Gon is done with Illumi, Gon grabs Illumi by the arm harshly and lifts Illumi into the air. Illumi just gracefully lands next to Gon. The young boy says while holding onto Illumi's arm," Friends don't need to qualify either!" Gon starts to tightly squeeze Illumi's arm. Illumi is a bit shocked when Gon breaks it.
