Chapter 6 / Showdown × on × the airship

After everything had been settled everyone aborted the airship. Once the airship went into the sky heading to the third phase, everyone met in a big open area on the airship where Chairman Netero and Mr. Beans was next to him.

"I will now take the opportunity to introduce myself properly to the remaining 42 applicants. I am Netero, the chairman of the selection committee for this year's hunter exam. It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

"And I'm his secretary, Beans."

"I had originally planned to make my appearance during the exam's final phase, but, well, seeing as I'm already here..."

Prince seems to be on high alert feeling high tension, sitting so close to your leg you feel as if you're going to fall.

"I have to admit there's nothing I love more than this feeling of tension in the air, so I think I'll stick around for the remainder of the trip." Netero laughs.

"We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning at 8:00am. Exactly. You'll find dinner waiting for you in the dining hall. You're also welcome to get some rest, of course. You're free to do as you please until we contact you. The evening is yours." Beans announces to everyone.

Everyone starts to do their own thing and you walk up to Netero while Prince, Hisoka, and Gittarackur follow close behind or beside you.

"Hey old man! How are you??" Netero laughs and hugs you, you hug back of course. "I am okay, y/n, are these your friends??" Netero asks looking at Hisoka and Gittarackur.

You hum in response and nod your head quickly, "Yep! They've been treating me very well! Hey do you possibly have two spare rooms? For me and my friends?"

"Yes, of course! Follow me." He gives you the keys to both the room. You give the key to Hisoka and Gittarackur room and you hold onto yours.

"This is your room and right next door is their's" Netero says as he points to two rooms. "Thank you so much!!" You give him a hug before he walks away due to him having to do something.

You unlock your door and walk in, it's a really nice room with one bed, Prince jogs into the room and immediately hops on the bed. You giggle at him and place his water dish on the floor and fill it up.

"I'll be back handsome boy, gets rest, I'll be with Hisoka and Gittarackur, I'll be okay" Prince just yawns in response and lays down all spread out to sleep.

You place your backpack in the room and walk out, locking the door behind you. "Okay, who's hungry? Cause I sure am.." You, Hisoka and Gittarackur all start to walking towards the dining hall, Hisoka on your right and Gittarackur on your left.

You see the guy named Tonpa walk the opposite way of you guys and just before he speaks to you, it seems he has an evil smirk on his face.

"Hey I never got to introduce myself, I'm Tonpa, you on your way to eat some dinner?"

Hisoka and Gittarackur seem to let out some bloodlust cause Tonpa seem scared. "What the fuck is it to you? But yeah why the fuck do you want to know you fat fuck?"

Everyone looks at you with a shocked expression but Tonpa responds back," Well I would just be careful if I were you, they might have poisoned it to take off some applicants."

You roll your eyes and just keep walking not wanting to deal with his shit but Hisoka stays behind and Gittarackur walks with me.

"I'll be right there my little fruit~ Daddy has to take care of something~" As he says that bloodlust fills the hallways causing you to pick the speed a bit not wanting to know what's going to happen with Mr. Tonpa.

You and Gittarackur make it the dining hall and you get somewhere to sit while he gets your food as well as his own and Hisoka's. You yawn as you wait for the food.

As Gittarackur is coming back with a bunch of food, Hisoka makes his return with his fists a slightly reddish color but he didn't seem bothered by it. As we all eat, Hisoka makes a house of cards on the table, some of them having sprinkled with blood.

"Hey, can you teach me that one day? That seems really cool!" You say to Hisoka as he seems to be in his own world while he looks at the completed house of cards. Then he just tips the cards over all of them falling and with the joker card landing last but on top. Hisoka creepily chuckles then looks at you with a slight hint of lust.

"Sure~" he says with his deep seductive velvetly voice. You blushed harder than ever and looked immediately down to your food, silently eating your food.

After all three of you had finished, Hisoka and Gittarackur help throw away the food and trash you get up and stretch. "Hmm.. I'm definitely ready for a shower and some sleep..~"

Hisoka and Gittarackur walk up to you,"Come on sweetheart~ let's get you to your room~" you blush hard at his words but you just nod. They walk you to your room and you unlock it and walk in.

"If you guys want you can stay with me in my room for a while if you want but I have to really take a shower.." Hisoka smirks immediately and Gittarackur just nods. You grab the things you need to shower and go into the bathroom that's connected to your room.

You close the door and don't bother to locking it because you don't think they'll walk in here while you're showering. You turn the shower on warm and take a nice steamy shower. Just having some comfortable PJ shorts and a loose t-shirt, you walk out into your room still drying your hair with the towel.

Hisoka and Gittarackur are talking on your bed while petting Prince and he looks like he's in heaven. You giggle quietly at Prince's reaction. The two men on your bed look at you immediately.

"He's a pretty good boy, isn't he?" You reference Prince, "He's my whole life.. he's always been there when I got my heartbroken, was having fights with my parents. Always" you walk up to Prince and gently pet his head and slowly hug him, he chuffs at me in response.

"Really now?~ You're pretty lucky to have someone like him~" Hisoka says he watches you with a now softer tone in his eyes.

"Would you like us to stay to keep you company for the rest of the night?" Gittarackur says unexpectedly. You look at him a bit shocked but nod.

"That would be.. really nice.." your shocked expression turned into a soft smile. You suddenly yawn. "Mmm.. I sure am tired, I'm ready to sleep..~"

"Then let's get you ready for bed my little fruit~" You nod as Hisoka and Gittarackur help you get under the covers while Prince is fast asleep at your feet. Hisoka lays next to you on your right while Gittarackur lays on your left.

You move side to side getting comfortable in the blankets yawning soon as you get more comfortable. "Goodnight my beautiful fruit~" Hisoka says softly while playing with your hair.

You soon drift off to sleep, getting prepared for the next day that is to come..
