Chapter 40 / Salvation × and × Future

"Hm?"

You turn around quickly to see who called your name and it's Killua hand in hand with a little girl, she had long black hair, blue eyes, pale skin like Killua, while wearing traditional clothes of a Japanese shrine maiden with boots and a headband adorned with emotional cartoon faces. You bow your head down slightly to the young girl making her shy and tries hiding behind Killua but he holds her in place gently.

"Alluka, this is Y/n, she's not going to hurt you.. Y/n, this is my younger sister Alluka."

A powerful and overwhelming of a nen ability is felt throughout the whole hospital building and the surrounding area. There was no bad intentions with the nen ability but you still felt fear creep up your body knowing that Killua's little sister, Alluka at such a young age could produce such powerful energy.

The presences was only there for a couple moments but even after it was gone, you couldn't seem to get up from your seat in the hospital hallway. Lost in thought, you don't notice a crowd of people rushing by you, you just continue staring at the floor before hearing your name be called by a familiar voice that made your heart sting.

"Y/n?"

"Now I'm going crazy... Great.."

"Y/n..?"

The voice is now coming from right in front of you from someone standing in front of you. Slowly you lift your head to see Gon standing with a concerned look on his face. You furrow your eyebrows before poking his arm to see if he's real making him giggle. Tears form in your eyes before you pull him into a firm hug while he hugs back.

"I thought I lost you.."

You pull away from him quickly, checking his face for an injury like a worried mother," Aren't you supposed to be resting?" Gon laughs nervously as Killua and Alluka walk up to you and Gon. Killua answers for Gon before he gets the chance to answer," Yes and no but he should be fully healed now, unfortunately we're not too sure about Gon having nen though, Alluka was only able to fix his physical body.." Killua shrugs before putting his hands in his pockets.

As a group of Gon's friends walk up to all of us, Killua explains that Gon wanted to go see Leorio and asked you if you wanted to come with, which you responded with," Why wouldn't I?"

Soon as Morel had opened up the doors to where the new co-owner election was taking place, he yelled out for Leorio," LEORIO!" You walk past Morel into the large room to see Leorio standing on stage with the microphone before looking towards us confused to who was yelling his name.

The whole room towards us up on the stairs, the only people that didn't look was Pariston and Gon's father, Ging who you glared at with anger.

"You're a piece of shit Ging.. Can't even look him in the eyes, can you?"

Finally with tears running down Morel's face, he gives Leorio a thumbs up with a smile and a simple nod. Leorio stares at Morel in shock before he realizes what's going on when Morel and you step to either sides of the doors letting Gon show himself to Leorio.

Gon, still in his hospital clothes, walks through the door, looking straight ahead while Leorio stares at Gon with shock and awe, his face is pale and he looks like he's seen a ghost. Finally, Leorio breaks seeing Gon and all of us right by his side, tears forming in his eyes, he yells out his name and drops the microphone he was holding.

"GON!!!"

Leorio with no hesitation jumps off the stage and comes rushing over to Gon at full speed with tears in his eyes," D-damn it! I was so worried about you!" Gon takes the hint and almost flies off from the top of the stairs straight towards Leorio," LEORIO!"
