Chapter 10 / Explosion × of × Deception

You see Gon let go of the bird and immediately wince in pain. You walk up to the hurt boy and wave. "Gon! Hey are you okay?"

"Y/n! I'm okay! I've just been hunting all of yesterday and today so now I have blisters all over my hands." He laughs a bit while showing me the inside of his palm. His hands have bloody blisters covering his fingers and the palm of his hand.

You widen your eyes a bit and take him closer to the river. "Here.. let me help you with those, I have a first aid kit in my backpack" As you pull your backpack off, it hits your side where you had been shot making you drop your backpack and wince in pain. Gon is immediately worried.

"Y/n! Are you okay?! Have you been wounded?!" Gon asks quickly and you nod. "Back a Trick Tower I was shot in one of the rooms.." You sit down on a big rock that is right next to the river and lift up your shirt a bit to where you could see where Gittarackur stitched you up. It's bleeding still. You curse under your breath. You carefully put a bandage on your side, tearing up in the process. You take a deep breath.

"I'm okay.. Let me get you bandaged up too-" As you were about to rinse the blood from his blisters off in the river, red butterflies start to surround Gon, he tries to swat them away but soon realizes that they're attracted to the blood. He seemed to think for a moment before rinsing off the blood on his hand and has me wrap his hand in bandages. He ties the back end of two butterflies to his bandaged finger and he starts to walk away.

He turns around to wave goodbye at you. "Thank you, Y/n! I have to go get Hisoka's badge!" Your smile soon disappears off of your face as you're waving goodbye to him.

'Hisoka's?! Oh no.. He seems to have an idea of what he's doing and seems to be able to handle himself, I'm just very worried'

"Please be careful Gon! Hisoka is a very powerful man!" Gon nods before turning back around and leaving into the woods. You walk back into the woods yourself where you had been resting last night. You carefully put on your backpack trying not to hurt yourself while putting it on but with no luck, it hurts you anyways. You walk towards the tree that Hisoka and you were at last night.

You notice there's the red butterflies going towards behind the tree. Prince lets out a low growl to whatever is behind the tree. You slowly walk up to the tree with caution. You see who's behind the tree and sigh with relief. It's Hisoka.

"Oh thank God it's just you.." Prince stops growing and starts purring while walking up to Hisoka and rubbing his head against his leg. Hisoka is sitting down with a butterfly on his finger but pets Prince with his other hand.

"Expecting someone else princess?~" Hisoka says while looking up at you. "No, it's just I was confused who was over here, the butterflies are attracted to the blood so sometimes or someone is bleeding over here-" You hear some yelling "Tonpa!!" It sounds like Leorio.

'Guess Tonpa did something to him' You see in the distance between the trees Leorio running after Tonpa. You giggle at him, he looks super angry. The running stops because some hits and stops Tonpa from running away more.

You're sitting with Hisoka just talking about random things, just trying to pass time, you noticed two people are around and haven't left a while ago but didn't say anything because you thought Hisoka already knew. It's sunset and a couple hours have passed since you've came back from the river.

"Well, come out... I know you're there." You and Prince watched Hisoka stand up. "If you aren't coming out, I'll come to you." He starts walking slowly to the bushes to the right of us. You look at the bushes and see Gon, your eyes widen. You put a finger over your mouth telling him to stay quiet.
