Chapter 7 / Decisions × by × Majority Rule?

You wake up to a soft tone played on the airship's speakers followed by a voice," I sincerely apologize for the long wait. The airship will be arriving at its destination shortly"

You yawn and rub your eyes gently to see who is next to you, it's a sleeping Hisoka and Gittarackur. You smile to yourself, you gently rock Hisoka and whisper," Hey wakey wakey~" he slowly opens eyes and nods at you.

You turn to Gittarackur and gently place your hand on his chest and whisper," Hey, wake up, we gotta go" he immediately wakes up and slowly gets up to get ready. Once all of you are ready you walk out of your room to get ready to walk out of the airship to the next phase.

Once everyone is out, everyone looks around, you're on top of what seems to be a massive tower. Beans clears his voice.

"Ah--Ahem. Everyone, this is the site of the Hunter Exam's third phase. You'll be competing here at the top of the Trick Tower."

The applicant #107 speaks up,"Did you say, "Trick Tower"?"

Mr. Beans continues," In order to pass this phase, you must reach the base of this tower alive. The time limit is 72 hours. And with that, the Exam's third phase will now begin. Good luck to each and everyone of you."

Beans goes into the airship and with that, it takes off, you hear the speaker of Bean's say," All right, everyone! Do your best!" With that the airship was gone.

"Hmm.." You walk around the tower trying to think of how to get down while Prince walks close beside you. Suddenly the floor drops from underneath your feet, you scream,"Hisoka! Gittarackur!" You close your eyes tightly waiting for impact but it never comes and to come to think of it, you're not falling anymore.

'Fuck, I died didn't I?'

You open your eyes slowly and you're in the arms of Gittarackur while Prince landed in Hisoka's arms. You sigh of relief and wrap your arms around Gittarackur's neck and hug him, he seems to flinch slightly and tense up but he pats my back gently.

"You're welcome y/n" Gittarackur says in his robotic voice. Hisoka seems to be glaring at Gittarackur as he sets me down on your feet. Hisoka carefully puts Prince down and you walk up to him and hugs his waist while looking up at him.

"Thank you for catching Prince, if you didn't he would be really hurt and I wouldn't have carried on without him" you say to Hisoka in a soft tone. He seems surprised by your gesture but hugs back softly.

"There was three watches on the table in here, here's yours, we already put on ours" Gittarackur says handing you watch that has a timer on and a red circle and blue x.

You put it on confused but suddenly from the brick room you ended up in had a speaker in which someone spoke,"Hello, my name is Lippo, I'm the prison Warden here, not to mention your examiner for the third phase of the exam. We've gone through the trouble of preparing multiple routes through the tower, and you've chosen is the path of majority rules.

If you want to pass-- And I'm sure you do-- cooperation is the essence of success. One person acting selfishly could derail the entire group, and of course you won't be permitted to start until you have all three members present. That's it Ladies and gentlemen! Best of luck!"

"And with that, let's get started!" You say with lots of energy. Hisoka grins at your remark as the wall exposes a door which has a sign on it that says 'At this door, select "O" to open, "X" Not to open' with a "O" and "X" right below the writing.

'Okay.. simple enough..'

You press 'O' and when you do the door had three votes on 'O' and zero on 'X'. The door slowly opens and you all walk through the door which led to a dark, narrow, cold hallway.
