Chapter 31 / Unease × and × Sighting

You groan to a feeling a large paw, patting your body. You slowly open your eyes to the sight of Mike who is in his much smaller form to fit inside the house. He sits politely in front of you, watching you slowly wake up. "What Mike?" You groan pulling the blankets over your head from the light that is suddenly showed throughout the room

"Y/n, wake up, you're worrying us, you've been asleep for 27 hours now, it's time to wake up"

"Shit really? 27 hours?" You say sleepily while yawning under the nice comfortable blankets before someone rudely peeks under the covers to look at your face. You wipe away some tears that were going down you face from your yawn, you blink tiredly at the person, trying to adjust to the light. "Silva..?" You say trying to get a good look at his face.

"Please, call me Dad, I am your father-in-law after all.." Silva says while patting your head with his large hand. You close your eyes and just relax into his hand making him chuckle quietly. "Illumi is worried about you, he's on a mission right now but wants to make sure you eat, you hungry?" You fully take the blanket off of your head before stretching. "Mhm!~" You sigh with relief from the nice good stretch before yawning again. "Let me get changed and I'll come eat," You say to Silva before he nods and makes his way out of the room.

"Wait really?! You'll teach me how to do that?!" Zeno chuckles while nodding. Grandpa Zeno showed you the known move from assassins, 'Rhythm Echo' and you jokingly said for him to teach you that which he immediately agreed to. "Of course, I don't see why not and you can show Illumi what you can do, I'm sure something like this would be easy for you to learn!"

Just after 3 hours, you were able to start to do it, it wasn't the best and it certainly wasn't perfect but you were able to do it. Since you were outside the mansion while Zeno taught you it, you decided to go and try and practice with Kikyo since she was home and Zeno and Silva had a mission to go on. You go inside the mansion and scan the mansion to try and find Kikyo but she wasn't there. You pout and look for her outside.

You eventually find her outside having tea with the same butler with glasses outside with her. You smile excitedly and jog over to her. "Kikyo-!" She immediately stands up and smiles. "Please Y/n! Call me Mom! Anyways, why are you so excited? What happened?"

"You're an assassin too right? Grandpa Zeno taught me how to do Rhythm Echo and I want to show you and practice with you!" Kikyo, still with a smile on her face sits back down in her seat before taking a sip of her tea. "Of course I'm an assassin, dear! You would probably be best off with Gotoh here for practice, he would be able to dodge your attacks easier and attack lighter than me~ I am retired after all! Gotoh, would you help Y/n here?" Gotoh looks at you with a blank expression before nodding once.

"Yes ma'am."

Gotoh walks over to you and stands a couple feet in front of you. You take a couple steps back just so you can make sure there's enough space between you two. "If I tap you with my finger, you lose and if you're able to tap me, I lose, how does that sound?" Gotoh smirks slightly before nodding," That sounds fair to me, ready?"

"Ready.."

You start walking towards Gotoh slowly, immediately starting to use Rhythm Echo and creating doubles of your self in a line. You subtlety switch places with several of your doubles, not staying as one of them for too long. Gotoh takes a couple swings at some of them making them disappear, some very close to you but it's too late, you got to him and he didn't even realize that you were behind him now. You tapped his shoulder making him quickly turn around towards you from the sudden touch.
