Chapter 14 / A × Dangerous × Watchdog

You and Hisoka have been in the back of a black car for a couple hours now. The driver speaks up," Sorry for the long drive, this traffic is insane" You sigh. "How far are we from the airport?" You ask now slightly annoyed. "Only about 10 minutes away but it's probably going to be another 30 minutes to get there"

You sigh again and open the door while still on the highway, not moving. "Hisoka, pay the man, we're running to the airport, if we stay we'll be late!" You get out of the cab and Prince jumps out with you, closing the door behind you. You start to run to the airport. Not even 10 seconds later, Hisoka is running with you.

We all make it to the airport and before no time, you, Hisoka and Prince are on an airship, going to who knows where. "So, can you tell me now pleaseeeeee?~" You whine slightly, really wanting to know where you guys were going. Hisoka chuckles," Fine~ I'll tell but only cause you asked so nicely. Heaven's Arena. We will earn money as you train to get better."

You put your hand over your heart and act hurt," Train? Daddy I don't know if you know this but I already trained when I was young, I know nen and have nen abilities." Hisoka immediately looks dumbfounded. "So, why don't you ever show that to me or anyone, ever?" You giggle. "Why show people that are possibly your enemy that you're actually strong? Think about it, someone thinks I'm weak then they try attack me for whatever reason, then I attack back with my nen. They're caught off guard and when people are caught off guard they can't concentrate and lower their defenses surprisingly so I end up winning said fight for that slip up, does that make sense?" Hisoka thinks about what you said and nods.

"That's very smart but it still doesn't answer my question, why haven't I seen your abilities? I'm not an enemy, also, I can't sense that you're a nen user. Usually nen users can sense other nen users so why can't I sense you?"

"Hmm, good question, I have no idea, ever since I was young my family taught me how to conceal my nen so now I guess that I just conceal it without even trying or thinking about it. I don't ever feel exhausted from it.." You shrug before thinking about it yourself.

It's been several hours getting on the airship and you have finally reached the city where this Heaven's Arena is. You, Hisoka and Prince all get into a cab, heading to Heaven's Arena.

15 minutes passes and you have made it Heaven's Arena, as Hisoka pays for the cab and walks next you as your admiring the tall, slender building, it's beautiful. "Let's go get signed in princess~" You blush at Hisoka's words and walk into the building with Hisoka. You both get signed in and your number is #1987 and #1988. Hisoka, you, and Prince walk to this big arena area that had a couple different platforms in the center.

As you both are getting settled, you hear number being called over the speakers," #1987 and #1967 please go to platform 'C'."

You tell Prince to stay put with Hisoka and you start to get a bit excited, you haven't fought in a while so you might be a little bit rusty. While walking down the stairs going to the platform, people start putting you down for being a girl and fighting. You scoff at their words.

Soon as you get to your platform, you analyze your opponent, he's very buff but too cocky for his own good. "You just just admit defeat now before you get hurt, I don't want to ruin that pretty face of yours.." The man says making you gag internally.

The referee explains the rules and says," Begin!" You roll your eyes as the cocky man charge you, you simple use a bit of nen and focus it in your foot, kicking him. He flies back and hits a wall, the referee declares that you win and he gives you a piece of paper and says you can go to floor 50. You take the paper as people are cheering loudly for you. You walk back to where Hisoka and Prince are. Hisoka claps and smiles widely," Good job little fruit~" You sit next to him and smile shyly.
