18 months later
Finally, the day has come that media all over the world would cover. The biggest band is done with serving their country. The seven men are meeting up an hour before their appearance on the stage where they would speak to their fans and the press, according to what they have been told a week ago.
The seven are happy to see each other again and when they are given a moment alone, they share their first kisses in so long. Just when Namjoon is about to mention their girlfriend, the door bursts open after a knock, and the room is filled with stylists and make-up artists. For the rest of the hour, they have not a single moment to themselves, being pushed into outfits and briefed on what to say to the media that is waiting for them. Their time on stage is timed and the group is delighted when they finally get into the vans to leave the location. On their ride to the city, they are informed that they will go to the company next to meet up with their families as well as their managers and the CEO.
The reunion with their families is a really joyful event even if they wish that Y/N would be there too. After they share a meal with their parents and siblings, they are escorted to the big meeting room. The CEO, managers, and head of PR are waiting for them. It is a pleasant encounter with hugs and congratulations before they all sitting down to go over their future plans.
The schedule is laid out, giving the men only one week for themselves before they attend a considerable number of interviews with national and international media. Yoongi looks over it and feels already exhausted by it. He was hoping to get more free time to enjoy with his girlfriend and in his studio to produce the songs he wrote in the military. "And that concludes our meeting for today." The CEO announces with a bright smile, "Jin and Namjoon? I need you to stay back for a few more minutes." Both nod, looking with a sad expression as their friends exit the room in excitement, telling them to hurry back to the dorm.
Once the oldest, the leader as well as the CEO, their main manager, and the head of PR are alone, they all sit back again. "What is this all about?" Namjoon inquires of the CEO. "This is mainly about Seokjin yet we wanted you to be present as well as the leader of BTS." The manager starts to explain. Jin looks at them in confusion not sure if he has done anything wrong during his time in the military that needed to be taken care of. "Seokjin, you are the oldest of the group and with everyone back, we want you all to show a more mature side of yourself." The head of PR looks at both males, who still have no clue what this is all about. "Next Friday, so in four days, you will meet your girlfriend." The CEO articulates as if it was the most normal thing to say. "My girlfriend?" Jin chokes on his water, not sure how this is possible because she is waiting for them at the dorm. "Yes, here are her information. I hope you will like her. We want to announce your engagement soon." Namjoon and Jin share a confused and worried look, not sure how to react. The oldest is not able to open the file, his mind clouded with thoughts about his girlfriend and the rest of the group that occupies his heart already completely. "What about Y/N?" Namjoon solicits the CEO a bit angered.
