As the door closes behind him, Jin crumbles to the floor, throwing the file that he was still holding across the room. "Why? Why?" He sobs as he lets his head rest on his knees. Behind his closed eyes, he can see Y/N face, her beautiful smile when she walked into the kitchen early in the morning. It was his favorite time of the day, the morning with her, preparing breakfast. She would hug him, kiss him between preparations, and feed him little bits with a bright smile.
He knows that Namjoon is informing the others right now and that it will break them, the same way it had broken him when he heard the news. As the oldest, he should be there for his younger brothers but right now he cannot. He understands that it selfish yet he cannot bring himself to go and see his lovers, yes lovers because his heart is also beating for each one of them.

With shaky legs, he walks to his bed to fall onto it, burying his head in the pillow to muffle his cries for Y/N to come back. His hands move under the pillow to hug it tightly when his fingers touch an object out of paper. He removes the item slowly to see an envelope with "Jinie" written on the front. His heart aches as he realizes that this is his girlfriend's handwriting. For five minutes, he debates if he should open the letter or just let it be. Can his heart take what is written inside? Will there be indications of where she might be? Will this be an official breakup? He finally walks over to his desk and gently opens the envelope. His hands are trembling when he removes the letter. At the first words, tears stream down his face as each word makes him angry, sad, and heartbroken.

After reading it, he is so mad that he tears the letter in two, only to cry more as he tries to fix it with tape. With the patched letter in hand, he lies back down on the bed and closes his eyes to dwell in the sweet memories, he has of his time with Y/N.
