I heard a gun snap and Harry lifted his chin looking at me from above ''If you shoot, I'll shoot.'' I heard Max's voice behind Harry holding the gun at his spine, I looked at Harry and we were silent for a few seconds until I moved my hand from his shoulder to the gun in my belly, Harry stared at me as I untangled his fingers and held the gun in my hand. I swallowed and put the barrel of the gun on his belly ''My girl...'' I heard Max as soon as he looked at my face and saw that I was pointing the gun at Harry ''Past is past...'' I stared at his blue eyes and I pulled the trigger of the gun deflecting the shot, Harry looked me in the eyes and I heard everyone on the back start screaming scared, I looked at Max's body on the floor and I held Harry's hand, afraid to lose him again.
I ran to the front door and got into the first car I saw, with all the crowd scared and running it wasn't hard to miss everyone's crooked looks, as soon as I got in the car I saw that Harry was still standing next to the door ''Do you trust me?'' I looked out the window at his serious face and took off my heels, his eyes showed that his was mad but still looking at me with affection, i could see he was too confused to express anything other than a look that made my knees shake, I stared at him for a few seconds waiting until he made up his mind and entered the car as I accelerated as fast as I could.
I noticed by the mirror that we were being followed and went through the streets feeling the wheels float on the asphalt with every curve I made "Faster!" I heard Harry scream and free himself from his seat belt opening the sunroof "Are there many of them?" I asked referring to his bodyguards which probably saw me leaving, I kept my attention on the streets, the accelerator was marking 160km/h ''Three cars, don't make a turn anymore until I say so!'' Harry said when he lifted his torso out of the roof and started shooting towards the cars that followed us ''Turn right!'' He shouted, I obeyed and I heard the sound of guns echoing through the dark streets ''Harry!'' I shouted nervously after hearing the explosion ''Just one more!'' He shouted back, I accelerated and knew that I was towards a dead-end street and the next turn would be to the left 2 blocks away from a shore that ended directly in the sea, where I would have no option but to throw the car in.
I took a deep breath and slowed down so that the car that followed us could get closer leaving Harry more exposed to them, but it was a risk that I needed to take, I turned around the corner all speed and heard the shots echoing ''Harry! Down!'' I shouted and I saw his body coming down the roof, I pushed him hard against the windshield so that the impact wouldn't kill him, and I felt the car stay in the air for a few seconds before crashing hard against the cold sea water. The Airbag exploded against me and I felt the water rising from my feet as soon as the car started to sink, I looked at Harry as I tried to unbuckle my belt and he soon reached for my hand to help, I climbed over the roof and jumped in the water being followed by Harry, I dived in and we swam close to the stone wall of the shore so we wouldn't be seen.
15 minutes later we reached a deck where a small boat was parked, I climbed the rocks until I reached the wooden walkway. I walked to the speedboat and jumped in, Harry did the same and looked around to make sure everything was calm, I took off the lid of the electronic compartment and managed to start the engine. I felt my lip trembling with cold when I positioned myself behind the steering wheel and accelerated as much as I could towards the emptiness of the dark horizon, keeping the boat lights off. I felt Harry's eyes trying to read me and took a deep breath ''Do you hate me?'' I looked at him who had taken off his blazed blazer. ''No.'' he replied, running his hands through his wet hair.
