Yaya: Madam!
A woman in floral patterned scrubs approaches their table.
Yaya: Madam, paciencia na ha, ang haba ng pila sa Makati Supermarket. Ang tagal niyo po bang nag-hintay?
She asks the elderly lady.
Madam Stella: Hindi naman. May mga na-meet lang akong new friends.
Drake: Hello po.
Migz: Hi po!
They greet her. She smiles back at them.
Madam Stella: Tayo na?
She asks.
Yaya: Sige po.
Madam Stella: Ma-una na 'ko, boys. Sana maka-tulong.
She picks up the cards from the table and coils the purple velvet ribbon around the stack.
She slowly rises from her seat with help of the woman in the floral scrubs.
Migz: Madam, sorry, hindi po tayo properly introduced.
Migz says to her as he rises from his seat.
Madam Stella: Okay lang yan, hijo. Sabi nga nila, I have a stellar presence —madalas nilang nalilimutan mga sarili nila.
Migz chuckles.
Migz: Ganoon po ba? Ako po si Miguel siya naman po si Drake.
He makes the introductions.
Madam Stella: Hindi ba Segismundo at Rafael?
Drake: What the—
Drake's mouth drops.
Migz is stunned.
Migz: Wait lang po — paano po nin—
The names they least expected to hear from a total stranger washes over them like a cold wave, freezing the world around them.
Madam Stella: Akin na lang 'yon, hijo.
She winks at them.
Madam Stella: Call me Madam Stella.
She adjusts her scarf.
Drake: Madam Stella, do we owe you for the reading?
Drake asks.
Migz: Oo nga po pala. Take out po? Or pakimkim po?
She smiles at the two.
Madam Stella: Wala akong tatanggapin sa inyo —sa ngayon.
Drake and Migz exchange looks at her cryptic response.
A message alert tone is heard.
Migz: Po?
Yaya: Madam, excuse, andiyan na po ang coche.
Her companion informs her.
Madam Stella: Paano? Bye bye na muna ha.
She begins to take her leave.
Madam Stella: Hanapin niyo ako sa may gilid ng Simbahan ng Quiapo. Madam Stella, don't forget.
She waves at them before turning away.
Drake: Yes po.
Migz: Opo. Bye po.
The nurse approaches them.
Male Nurse: Sir Migz, tumawag na po si Doc. Need na po nating bumalik sa hospital.
