Lolo Cente: Any news, Miguel?
Don Vicente asks upon seeing Miguel at the waiting area outside the Emergency Room as he enters the glass doors coming from the hospital lobby. He has not yet changed from the clothes he wore for the Flores de Mayo procession and is still using the same ebony cane with the silver handle.
Migz: Lo, ba't pumunta pa kayo rito?
Migz asks as he approaches Don Vicente who slowly walking towards him.
Lolo Cente: Tapos na rin naman ang prusisyon kanina pa at wala na rin namang masyadong visita sa bahay.
He says to him as he looks around the Emergency Room.
Migz: Ang sabi sa 'kin kanina, he's stable naman po pero hindi pa raw ma-determine ng mga doctor bakit unconscious pa po siya.
Migz explains to the elderly gentleman.
Lolo Cente: Hindi naman kaya siya na-aneurysm?
Don Vicente asks.
Migz: Hindi ko rin po alam.
A doctor emerges from inside the Emergency Room.
Doctor: For patient Drake Lee?
He calls out.
Migz: Here po, Doc.
Migz raises his hand.
Doctor: Oh, Don Vicente! Uh— good evening po.
The doctor recognizes Don Vicente.
Doctor: Any relation to the patient?
He asks.
Lolo Cente: He is under our care while he's in the country.
The elderly gentleman responds with a tone of authority.
Doctor: Patient's initial ECG and other vital signs are relatively normal. We're still awaiting the results of his bloodwork. What we are most concerned about is his lost of consciousness that leads us to speculate na it might be brain related that is why we are prepping him for a CT Scan now.
The doctor explains to them.
Lolo Cente: Whatever test needs to be taken or whatever procedure he may require immediately, money is not an object, Doc.
Don Vicente tells the Doctor.
Doctor: Duly noted, Don Vicente.

Veronica: Migz!
She calls his as she climbs the lobby steps.
Migz: Veronica!
A tall young man with multi-racial features follows just behind her.
Veronica: We came as soon as we got the message. I had to wait for Ethan lang.
She explains.
Veronica: Migz, this is Ethan. He's the friend of Drake. They were classmates since middle school.
She introduces Ethan to Migz.
Ethan: Ethan. Ethan Lewis.
He offers his hand.
Migz: Miguel Arrastia —just call me Migz.
Migz takes it and shakes his hand.
