Migz: Inom ka muna.

Migz hands him a plastic bag with a straw and cold buco juice inside. Drake is seated on one of the stone benches at the side of the church.

Drake: Thanks.

He accepts it and takes a sip.

Migz: Sigurado kang okay ka lang talaga?

Migz asks him again.

Drake: Yes, I'm fine.

He answers though obviously short of breath.

Migz: Pangalawa na yan ngayong araw na 'to, Drake. Gusto mo ba punta muna tayo kay Doctor Campitan?

Drake looks at Migz. He can sense that his concern is genuine. In his head, between just being dizzy and the voices he's been hearing since this morning, Drake feels there's something else to  what he's just experienced but he doesn't know where or how to begin.

Drake: There's no need for that. Okay lang talaga ako, promise.
Drake dismisses the though of any medical help. Migz doesn't seem to be convinced.

Migz: Nakaka-kaba na kasi ang hitsura mo kanina sa loob. Lalo na nang nangatal ang mga kamay mo.

Migz and Drake are walking back to Lolo Cente's house. Drake stops slightly after Botica Francia, and turns to Migz.

Drake: Would you do me a favor?

He asks.

Migz: Ano 'yon?

Migz asks back.

Drake: Can we not tell Don Vicente about what happened at the church just now?

Migz looks his gaze on Drake's face. He gives him a smile.

Migz: Wala 'kong sasabihin kung wala ka ring sasabihin.

Drake [on the line]: I'm good naman here, Mom. We went exploring around town kanina. The apo of the house I'm staying at toured me this morning and we watched the offering of the flowers para sa Virgin Mary kanina at church. You po?

Drake [on the line]: Ahhh.. Hindi ka pa sanay with Sophia. No one can convince her otherwise pag gusto niya gusto niya.

Drake [on the line]: Let her try. She has the talent naman. Mamaya she will make you sisi because of missed opportunities or—

Drake [on the line]: I know na. Tell her— tell her— if she wants expensive art supplies, she's gotta pay for it. Para naman she's forced to get a part time job for that.

Drake [on the line]: I'm sure papayag si Papa. Anything to get Sophia para maging more responsible and less angsty against— the world?

Drake [on the line]: Yeah. I have a pocket wi-fi. Muntik ko na makalimutan 'cause I just checked it now. Pero the signal here is like turtle slow. Oh yeah—You won't believe this house, Ma. It's a Spanish era mansion and there's only three people living here.

Drake [on the line]: We haven't discussed that pa. The opportunity never came up para we can talk about it. Nakaka-hiya nga because I wrote a letter that I would pay for my lodging and food expenses pero when he responded, he only mentioned na he would be delighted to host me and said when he would be available to do so.
