Migz: Akala ko naman nagka-intindihan na tayo.

Migz drags Gregory down the stone steps that lead to the upper level of Casa de Arrastia.

Everyone else upstairs is distracted by the song following Doña Idang's energetic and well-received performance. The mesmerizing mezzo soprano voice of Dahlia, a sagala participating in tomorrow's Santacruzan, echoes from above as Migz and Gregory violently make their way down.

Migz: Ba't nandito ka na naman? Hindi pa ba malinaw sa 'yo yung sinabi—

Migz's right hand clutches the front of Gregory's shirt, violent tugging at it.

Gregory: I just wanna talk, Migz—

Gregory tries to pull himself back up, trying not to trip as he follows Migz down the stairs.

Migz: Tang-ina, Greg! Akala mo ba magpa-paniwala pa ako sa 'yo?

They reach the bottom landing.

Migz turns to look up at the top of the steps to check if anyone has noticed them. He checks the open windows of the house to see if anyone is looking out through them.

Gregory: Can't you just—

Migz pulls at Gregory's shirt and pushes him away.

Gregory: Ano ba, Migz? Migz—

Gregory stumbles forward nearly losing his balance.

Migz: Tinuldukan ko na usapan natin noong isang gabi—

Migz rushes towards the tent housing Inang's silver carroza at the side of the house trying to avoid anyone seeing him and Gregory together.

Gregory: Please —You gotta hear me out—

Gregory gives chase, grabbing Migz's right forearm as they reach the dimly lit tent.

Migz: Tang-ina, Greg. Ang kulit—

Migz violent pulls his arm away,

They stop at the side of the silver carroza.

Gregory: Here.

Gregory digs in his jogging pants pockets.

Gregory: This is all that I owe you.

Migz watches as Gregory produces about five bundles of one thousand peso bills from his front and back pockets.

Gregory: There's over four hundred thousand here. I can also give you your share sa income.

Migz: Hindi ko kailangan ang pera mo, Greg.

Migz tries to tell him calmly despite his anger.

Gregory: Please, Migz. Ano pa ba?

Gregory helplessly pleads with Miguel.

Gregory: What have I got to— Ano pa ba gusto mong gawin ko so you can forgive me?

Gregory embraces Migz.

Migz is caught by surprise and pushes Gregory away.

Migz: Lumayo ka! Stay the hell away from me!

Gregory presses onto Migz, landing his lips on him, forcing a kiss.

Veronica: Are we interrupting something here?

Veronica's voice pierces through the song echoing from above.
