The hospital suite door swings open.
Two familiar faces rush into the room.
Drake is about to take a spoonful of his oatmeal but stops midway.
Veronica: Drakeyyyy!!!
Her excited voice occupies the silence of the room.
Veronica: You're back na.
She hugs Drake from his side before giving him a light kiss on the right cheek.
Drake: Was I ever gone?
He sarcastically replies.
Ethan: That's him, alright.
His longtime friend comments as he takes the hand of Drake's Mother to ask for her blessing.
Drake: Were you expecting someone else?
He snaps back at Ethan.
Drake's Mother gives Ethan her blessing.
Veronica: Definitely you.
She says while tugging at his right arm.
Veronica: Hi Tita!
She mouths to Drake's Mother.
Princess smiles back at her.
Veronica: How are you feeling?
Drake: Medj sore. I've been on my back for too long.
He says while straightening his back.
Drake: Brain surgery, right?
Drake points to his shaved and bandaged head while shrugging his shoulders.
Drake: Who knew?
He sighs.
Ethan: Well, you're one tough bulgogi eater.
Ethan lightly taps the back of his left shoulder.
Drake rolls his eyes at him.
Veronica: What's important now is for you to get well.
Veronica checks on the breakfast food served to Drake.
Drake: And to think, yung documentation thesis ko lang ang concern ko. I haven't even started a single thing.
Ethan and Veronica exchange surprised looks.
Veronica: You haven't?
She asks, looking slightly confused.
Migz: Eherm...
Ethan and Veronica notice Migz's deliberate coughing.
Even Drake's Mother gives Veronica a quick loaded wink.
Drake: Imagine, kakarating ko lang there and then boom, brain tumor.
