George POV.
Clay knew I hated him for signing me up as a cheerleader, and he loved how pissed it made me. I considered just ditching the blond and walking home, but my parents have helped him find me before and they'd do it again.
It seemed that Clay knew what I was thinking, because both periods after lunch he managed to grab me before I could leave, I shot him a glare which just caused him to let out a laugh. "Why are you forcing me to do this?" I asked in an irritated tone.
"Because I find it funny Georgie, so does your father. He told me to get some front row tickets to your first show."His smirk grew wider somehow when he saw my annoyed expression at those words.
Once the final bell rang for the end of the day Clay rested a hand on my shoulder. He directed me to the Ferrari and finally let me go before slamming the door and locking it in my face so I couldn't try to run.
I sighed out in annoyance before leaning back against the carseat, there was no point in trying to run either way. With both Clay and my father forcing me to do this there was almost no way I could get out of it.Clay climbed into the drivers seat and started the engine. He drove us into town, right beside the cafe I went to the day we went to the movies. Clay pulled into a spare spot and gave me a sly, cocky look. "So do you want food before we get your uniform?"
"I hate you." I muttered in response.
"Bullshit, you love me. Now do you want some food?"I let out a grumble, but gave a small nod, anything to delay the humiliation of letting Clay know he's beaten me. Maybe I'd get the chance to slip away and run home, but with the all-knowing bodyguard watching over me I probably won't get the chance.
Please note the sarcasm in my voice. He lead me into the cafe, still watching me with to make sure I didn't get the chance to run off. Geez when did he become so good at his job?
I sat down at a table near the door as Clay headed up to order some drinks, one eye was on me the entire time to watch in case I tried running. Not that there was any point to try that anyway, he is faster and could catch me in an instantly. The blond sat down opposite me and kept smirking the entire time. Soon we both had some steaming hot coffee in front of us and Clay began drinking his cup immediately.
Clay finished his quickly and I hadn't even had a single sip of mine.
"I wasted 5 dollars on that coffee, don't be a dick and leave it sitting there." The blond almost pouted, causing me to roll my eyes. He can be so childish it's annoying.Clay read my expression and shrugged his shoulders, before grabbing my coffee and drinking it. The entire time he drank he never broke eye contact, his bright green (or yellow) eyes both having a mischievous gleam.
I just watched with an annoyed look and a disgruntled scowl.Once he'd finished my drink he offered out his hand, which I refused to take, instead just standing and walking out of the cafe on my own with him chasing after me.
I didn't even try to run off, there was no point and he smiled he realised I accepted that, no matter how much I hated the thought."I really thought being a bodyguard meant you needed to protect the person you're hired to work for." I mumbled to him as we walked across the road towards the shop Coach McAuley instructed us to go too.
"Yeah, but the job description didn't say anything about embarrassing you."
"I say it's part of the job description, and I am your boss too."
Clay rolled his eyes playfully, "actually your dad is my boss, and he paid for me to do this."He lead me into a shop lined with different types of clothing lining the wall; private school uniforms, sports kits and of course, the reason we were here today, cheerleader uniforms.
I didn't bother trying to hide my glare from Clay, he was being an asshole and deserved to see it.The blond dragged me up to the desk and tapped his fingers almost impatiently while a tall man with glasses sat at a desk quickly writing something down.
"I never realised how eager you were to see me in a skirt." I mumbled to Clay, who blushed slightly at my words.
"I'm not that eager." He mumbled back, although it seemed obvious that he was lying. The man came over to us and gave a small smile, "sorry for taking so long, how can I help you both today?" He asked politely, his glasses were sitting slightly askew on his face.
Clay's eyes darted down to read the male employees name tag, Darryl, "well Darryl we were wondering if you could help get us a cheerleader uniform. Our school's coach said you might have one in his size." The blond motioned to me and I responded with a glare.Darryl let out a small giggle but managed to keep the majority of his composure, "I think I may have something for you." He motioned for us to follow him behind the desk and started leading us towards a door into a warehouse behind the store.
There were shelves about 10 feet high stacked with boxes and hangers with newly manufactured products, he lead us to a row of cheerleader uniforms then asked me what school I went to so he could find the right shipment of uniforms.
The blond answered his question and Darryl nodded before leading us further down the row before stopping in front of a bunch of cheerleader uniforms in the school's colours, blue, yellow and white.
Darryl then turned to me again and handed me a medium sized shirt and some l bong pants in a darker blue from over in the next group of uniforms."Your school only has cheerleader uniforms for girls," the employee explained, "the top seems fine for you and seems to cover everything but there are no long pants so I have to use some from St Brighton High School who have a similar colour scheme."
He passed them to me and pointed at some changing rooms nearby, "change" he instructed firmly.
