George POV.

The lunch bell was just about to ring, saving me from a boring lecture in English. I did like the subject but it was just revision shit which I already knew off by heart. Clay hadn't told me what his punishment was yet and so I was being cautious, he sat beside me with his eyes flicking in my direction to make sure I don't get the chance to run off.

I huffed in annoyance, it was killing me not knowing what he was planning on doing. Would he make it really embarrassing and do something in front of the whole school or wait until we got home and punish me there.

God. Saying punishment makes me feel like he's gonna fuck me or something, but I already cleared that thought from my mind. I have only known him since Sunday after all.

Finally the ringing bell freed me from this boring lesson and I gave a small smile, as I lifted my English book to my chest and stood to head to my locker. However, when I stepped into the hall I felt a large arm wrap around my shoulders loosely. I wonder who that is. Clay allowed me to direct him towards my locker and put my books away before I felt his arm immediately tighten.

I had to follow him into the cafeteria where we stood in line waiting for food. Today's meal was not as nice as the burgers from yesterday: just a sandwich, some fresh fruit, a bottle of water and a bag of chips.
There was nothing new about this but I allowed myself to look over the board with the weekly menu as though studying it for the first time, mainly too avoid the weird looks I got from everyone, especially Clay's fanclub. Because everyone was shocked that me, an unpopular nobody, was friends with Clay, who had become one of the most popular people in this hellhole in less than a day.

One actually decent thing about this cafeteria is that as well as getting trays to eat inside you could also get your food in bags so you could go outside to eat. Clay ordered his lunch and asked for it too be given to him in one of these bags and gave me a look telling me to do the same. I reluctantly grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich, an apple, a bottle of water and chicken chips, before he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside with him.

The school had a small shed near he bottom of the grounds by the sports fields, and nobody usually hung out around there as the blond pulled me out of sight of the main school building. Finally the taller man let go of my arm and I rubbed it gently, he seemed unaware of how hard he'd been pulling me, very bodyguard-like.

"You're feeling touchy today." I muttered under my breath, to which he gave a sly smile.
"So Georgie, you broke my one rule of not running off." He said in a tone that sounded like a question but was worded as a statement.
"Yes I did." I agreed.
"And now you're going to be..."
"...punished. I know." I finished for him.

He gestured for me to sit and eat which I did, there was a deck that ran the length of this side of the shed which I sat on. The blond sat next to me and before I could even manage one mouthful of my sandwich he pulled my onto his lap.
My eyes widened and my cheeks flushed the deepest red possible as he did this and he began eating his sandwich as though there wasn't someone sitting on him.

"Is there a reason you're doing this?" I asked, looking up at him.
Clay just shrugged, "I don't want you running off Gogy. This will keep you here."
He took another big bite of his sandwich.
"How does this keep me here? I mean what stops me from standing and leaving right now?" I questioned.

He gave a small smile. "Well Georgie if you try to leave without me letting you I can do this..."
The blond wrapped his arms around me, with one over my chest and the other around my waist, then pulled me back into his chest. I couldn't help but feel like he was enjoying this.

And I couldn't help but agree that I might be enjoying this also.

My back was pressed against Clay's muscly chest and you know how I said my cheeks and flushed the brightest red possible earlier? Turns out I could go way redder. I struggled against him with no success and eventually gave up, just resting against his chest and moving back my head so it rested on his shoulder.

"You give up now Georgie?" He asked with an annoyingly cute smirk.
I gave a small nod, "can you let go of me now?" My voice was quiet and the blond did so.

I hated sitting on Clay's lap but tried to ignore it as I ate my way through the contents of the lunch bag. When I just had the chips and water left I looked up at the blond who appeared to be lost in thought while staring at me, "can I get off you now?" I asked, bringing him back to reality.

Clay just nodded and I jumped off him, "Do we have to do that every day now?" I asked him as we began walking back to the school. He hummed a yes in reply but didn't let any words leave his mouth.

Clay POV.

Why the fuck did I do that?! Forcing him to eat lunch on my lap like some pervert? That is definitely a good way to get fired, but my eyes traveled up slowly to examine his small face and I could see some part of him enjoyed it. The thought of that made me smirk.

"Do we have to do that every day now?"
He asked, turning properly to meet my gaze.
I hummed in reply and we looked towards the doors for the cafeteria, where students had just started flooding out.

Those annoying ass girls who followed me mindlessly stumbled out into the sunlight and looked around, seeming loss before they spotted me and began running over. The brunette let out a small sigh and before the girls reached us I grabbed his hand and began leading him towards into the school corridor.
"Wanna go to that old hidden room you have on the third floor?" I asked him, while already leading him up the stairs.

He nodded energetically, looking thankful that I had managed to get us out of the way of those fangirls.

I chuckled at his eagerness, "let's go then." I smirked.
