Sadly not, even though it would be ridiculous (seeing as Hell's Pizza gave out free condoms and vibrators for Valentine's day).

So I some other else.

Also thanks to all the people who commented on my post earlier and gave suggestions. One of my favourite being Me3e3ee who gave the amazing idea of sending the pair to a motel.

George POV.

It was just after lunchtime when I woke up. Clay was still in the bed with me and I was laying on him, the blond was scrolling through his phone with a hand resting on me, rubbing small circles on my back.

He noticed I was awake and kissed my forehead gently as I sat up. "Did you sleep better Georgie?" He asked me, "or did I end up leaving you to get knocked out again?"
"You were fine this time." I mumbled, as I pushed myself away from him.
The blond smiled, "that's good." He paused for a moment, "well... would you like to go out somewhere?

"Hmm. What do you mean?" I asked, rubbing my eyes slightly.
"Well we could go out on a... a date if you aren't tired." Clay asked me.
I thought it over before nodding, a date would be a good way to clear my head, and spend time with Clay too.

The blond smiled before telling me to go to my room and shower before he headed to his own bathroom to shower.

When I came out of the bathroom, wearing a long sleeved shirt and light grey 3/4 pants. Clay was waiting for me spinning a set of car keys around his fingers, and stopped when I entered the room.
"Are you ready to go?" The blond asked, to which I nodded from response, then we headed downstairs.

Apparently Clay had told my parents we weren't going to school, seeing as my mother saw us and seemed completely fine with her son and his Pillow not being at school.

We climbed into the car and Clay began driving, where were we going? I didn't know.
Every time I asked he just replied saying something along the lines of "it's a suprise" or "you'll see when we get there".
For all I knew he could honestly be driving us off somewhere to kill me, although I knew for a fact he'd never actually do that. (Ok, I think he'd never actually do that, those dreams kinda threw me off).

Eventually he pulled into a carpark in a mall. I looked over to him in the seat beside me, an eyebrow raised, but he had already gotten out of the car and was heading over to my door.

He lead me into the large, glass-fronted mall with our hands holding eachother. Clay and I reached the centre of the multistory complex. Once I had sat down at a small table outside a cafe, and Clay had gone to order us a late brunch I finally began trying to figure out why we were here.

If Clay had brought us both here to just do whatever, kill a couple of hours, or something like that, he wouldn't have had told me it was a 'surprise'. Clearly he wanted to do something, maybe to murder me.
My eyes trailed the shop fronts, looking for something that the blond may take me and him too.

Some restaurants, they didn't seem fitting, if they were where we were going Clay wouldn't have brought me here for a brunch, instead taking us to one of those places.

Sports shop, well... I don't play sport, I'm not fit at all, so there would be no point. Same with the gym on the second floor as well.

Department stores, and any other place here that sold furniture could be eliminated, why would either of us need new furniture? (Except for when they break George's bed 😏)

Clothing stores, maybe, but did my Pillow really think my clothing style was that bad?
Unless it was about his style of clothing, which consisted of pretty much only hoodies and jeans, (although I wasn't complaining because it was fun to steal his hoodies and they were comfy to wear).

Toy store, another maybe. He might have wanted to buy me a toy as a gift. The classic gift given to someone especially after a carnival date. I feel like a toy shop is the most probable answer.

What else? What else? My eyes continued darting around the mall, looking for possible places. But I looked back over to the empty space opposite me when Clay appeared. I looked up at the blond who was still standing and smiling down at me.

"Can you tell me what we're doing here now?" I looked up to him with curious eyes.
"Once we've eaten Georgie" Clay replied as he sat down.
His eyes traced me, maybe trying to read my thoughts, I tried asking the blond again, "please can you tell me what we're doing here Pillow?" I used a pouting expression, lowering my head closer to the table, hoping it'd get him to tell.

He grabbed my chin gently and lifted it back up before kissing my forehead lightly, and I would have been more embarrassed if there had been people around. But thankfully not many people were and all of them were too busy to focus on us.

"That face is cute but it won't work on me Georgie."
My eyes narrowed into a half glare, but I sat back up and huffed out in annoyance, crossing my arms as I stared directly into his eyes.

Every so often as we waited for our food, and even as we were eating, I'd ask him the same question repeatedly, "what are we doing here?" And each time Clay never answered.

Finally we both finished eating and Clay stood up, I followed behind him, and as we walked he turned to me, "are you ready for your surprise?"
