Okay guys, no more smut for a while. Sorry if you liked it, sorry if you didn't and had to put up with a lot of smut chapters recently.

Can I just say that when I originally wrote this story and first started uploading it, Zak was meant to be the leader of the trio of bullies but then I changed it to Nick, and then finally Wilbur.

Karl was meant to be introduced in the chapter Darryl was and Nick was meant to be lovestruck not Zak.

Wilbur was meant to have been closer friends with Nick than he was with Zak and supported Nick when he came out as bisexual and become friends Clay, George, Nick and Karl.

I changed it all last minute and probably made the story like 20 chapters longer than it needed to be.

Anyway enjoy.

Clay POV.

Over the next few weeks of school Wilbur surprisingly got better. He was rude around George a lot less, and all of the friend group noticed it.

At lunch we were gathered around the table and all of us talked about it, guessing as to why he had a sudden change of heart. On one side of me were Zak and Darryl, on the other was George. All of us were talking besides Alex, who didn't really know Wilbur much but occasionally chimed in with a joke.

Even though the majority of our guesses were jokes and far fetched such as he was replaced by a robot or was taken by aliens and all of his BS was removed) we couldn't help but wonder what had actually happened.

Wilbur POV.
One month ago (December 24th)

I let out a loud sigh as I looked out of the window of the cafe on the second floor of the mall. Every year Nick, Zak and I had met up here for lunch on Christmas Eve and then just mucked around together, not wanting to spend time with our families.

As I ate the food in front of me I couldn't help but wonder how so much had changed in less than a year. One month I had 2 best friends and we ruled the world together, the next the new kid Clay Smith showed up and they became friends with him and left me.

However I knew a lot of what was happening was my fault. I was being a dick and I knew it. Bullying several people in my life, including George and my brother's Tommy and Tubbo.

I let out a small sigh and rested my head my head on the table. My eyes stared boredly out the window when I saw her walking past.

A girl who was about the same age as me, with vivid red hair and dark sea green eyes. She was wearing a white loose shirt and black tights as well as a belt. She was walking on her own past the window and I couldn't help but watch her walk, creepy I know.

The girl walked into the cafe and I couldn't help but notice it was really crowded, and she grabbed a free water then walked over to me.
"Hello there, sorry if I'm interrupting but I was wondering if I could sit here." She asked.

"Uhh-sure." I said awkwardly. She smiled and slid into the seat opposite me. "So... Why are you sitting here?" I asked the girl as she sipped from her glass of water.
"Hiding from friends... They're probably downstairs fussing about with make up still."

My eyes met hers as she took another sip. Then the redhead put her glass down and held out her hand, "I'm Sally by the way."
I looked down at her hand then shook it with my own. "I'm Wilbur. It's a pleasure to meet you."

We sat there and talked, and joked, and ate for hours, which was way longer than I would usually spend here with Nick and Zak every other year.

Eventually Sally glanced at the time on her phone and then back up at me, "I probably need to go." She said sheepishly, "my dad would probably want me home to help make Christmas dinner."
"Yeah. I probably need to go too. Philza probably wants me home." I replied, although in all honestly he most likely wouldn't care where I was.

...that sound bad. Philza knows that my brother Techno and I leave often but we always come back unharmed so he doesn't mind. Although he does get extremely protective whenever something bad happens to one of us.

"Well... maybe I'll see you soon," Sally smiled as she handed me her phone to put my number in. I did that and then she smiled with her ocean coloured eyes shining brightly.
"Bye Wilbur. Merry Christmas." She said in a cheery tone.

Then she left, walking outside of the store and I watched as she rode the escalator down and leave the mall through the front entrance. I was about to stand and leave when my phone vibrated.

Unknown number.

❤️ It was fun today Wilbur.
We should hang out again after New Year.

Yeah, sounds nice.

After that offer I couldn't help but smile as I added her contact into my phone. It made me happy that she wanted to hang out with me again.

1 week later.

The Winter carnival is usually considered romantic, I didn't know whether I should feel like that was the case or not.

Sally and I went down to the carnival together, we walked through the crowded place and tried every ride at least once... besides the tunnel of love ride.

We were walking through a crowd of people when we passed the tunnel. "Ohh, that looks cool, we should try it," Sally said, clutching a teddy bear I won for her.
I blushed slightly, but didn't let her see it. "Are you sure Sally?"

"Yeah, it looks fun," she smiled, tucking a strand of her long, wavy red hair behind her ear.
I gave a small smile, "okay then."

The two of us lined up and I brought tickets for the both of us. We hopped into a small boat and then after a moment it set off, bobbing slowly in the water.

After a while the slow ride went inside, and warm air surrounded us. "I don't see why you wanted to go on this ride," I muttered to Sally.
She looked back to me, her bright sea green eyes shining as usual. "Why not? This is a date... right?"

"Uhh..." My face turned red, thankfully she couldn't see it in the dark, "...yeah. This is a date. Of course this is a date."

"You're nervous." Sally stated, her eyes moving to look towards the water.
"Yeah..." I admitted, "kind of."
She let out a giggle and turned to grab the side of my face gently, turning my head so my eyes met hers. Then she connected our lips.

Ever since then I've been love struck. It sounds stupid but it's true...

But at least it's all worth it.
